Steve Spurrier says Alabama could beat a few NFL teams: http://espn.go.com/college-football...rier-says-alabama-crimson-tide-beat-nfl-teams

I say: gee Steve, you couldn't beat NFL teams when you coached an NFL team...what makes you think this would be different?

Yeah there might be some NFL caliber players on the Alabama squad, but there arent any 'college' players on the Chiefs squad. Alabama would get man handled by the speed and strength of any NFL team.

That hit compressed one of my vertabrae, and I was only watching it on TV...

Looked like a clean, legal, well timed hit to me. :dunno

There should be a mandatory cash bonus for any one on one legal hit where the offense's feet go above his head before he hits the ground.

You know, I don't think the Chiefs are a good team.

Don't tell their GM that, he's the "genius" that built the Patriots. :laughing

:thumbup

That hit, and others like it, show the game can be played with passion, force, and even a an amount of relative safety when the technique is correct.

So I think I like Dallas vs the Falcons as upset of the week. Anybody else see this happening?

i dunno. sounds rediculous but i remember thinking in 2007-ish that USC might have been able to beat the Niners.... :laughing

OLB Weatherspoon's out for ATL...it's possible. You just never know what Romo's going to do from week to week.

Dallas is PISSED they couldn't pull that win off against the Champs last week and desperate for a win. It should also be noted that Atlanta is 7-0 without beating a single team who currently has a winning record...

Back then I think they had a higher payroll than SF though

Eli's sadface was epic.

Sorry Eldirty!

:dunno I called this loss last week. Formula was perfect. Giants favored to win at home in the regular season coming off a streak of a few big wins = ALWAYS LOSE.

If we drop the ball to Cincy ALSO, I will start to get a little worried. At 6-3 I'm not sweating a loss under extremely difficult circumstances against a worthy opponent.

9er fans. Take note. That's how you beat the little bitch team from New York. :teeth

That team had a bye this week, doofus.
