The Official 2012 NFL Thread

I think Reid is better off as an OC than HC. He makes too many key coaching mistakes in critical moments. The way he mismanages the clock in the final 2 minutes has never ceased to amaze me. Still, he's been VP of Football Operations in Philly for years, so he may end up taking a back office job somewhere since he has so many personal problems with his family that seem high maintenance.

That makes sense to me, we've seen it before (Reid being a better OC than HC). Turner anyone?

So... anyone know if Jeff Garcia is still looking for a job?

:facepalm

He's in enjoying his retirement

I said the same shit about Vick when he was with Atlanta, fuck that dude, a QB is not an RB. Especially not in today's NFL, where it is by the book designed to support the pocket passer.

Wait, didn't the team with the most Super Bowl victories in history get knocked out of the playoffs last year by a run-first QB?

U GO TEBOW

What quack told Ruthlessboner he would die if he plays football? Dr Ray Lewis?

For real though if I was #7, just married, kid any day, won 2 Super Bowls already got a huge pile of money, survived various near death experiences, yeah I would say all yours Lefttwich

Not enough opportunity to rape when at home.

So, does anyone think Leftwich can beat the Ravens? I think trailing the Ravens by 1 game, losing Raperburger now might be a fatal stumbling block for the House of Steel. I'm also curious to see how the NFC West might be the hottest race in the NFL with the Mighty Niners starting to stumble while the oft ridiculed Seachickens are strating to surge.

Depends on which Ravens show up.

Keep in mind, Dixon lost to them by an OT FG a couple of years ago. Not bad for a subsequently cut third string rookie QB.

I agree it doesn't look good, though.

Well, honestly, the Steelers seem to be making a lot of their game on the ground these days, so the question is how well can Leftwich manage the game around that.
