The Official 2015/2016 NFL Thread

Yeah, and, bottom line, it was a pretty unusual moment....not sure if it will start being a featured tactic!:laughing

In all honesty I think he did it on purpose. He is a willy competitor and will use the rules to full advantage...as expected. My guess is if he doesn't hear a whistle he gets up and makes a play and if he does hear the whistle he gets up and prepares for next play.

Great coin toss

:laughing how do they get this simple shit wrong?

Arizona deserved to lose that game. Palmer was horrific in the red zone, as I've said in the past. he should have been picked off at least once, probably twice more. It shouldn't have even come down to the hail mary.

That pass to Fitz in OT was fortunate, due to Green Bay deciding to leave him wide open for...reasons.

I now have zero faith in Palmer to step up and beat Carolina. They're going to eat him alive. I'm guessing 38-9.

I don't think they will based on many games this season rather than that one, fwiw. We'll certainly see!! But no question, it will be toughest challenge...

I predict a closer score around the low 20s. But I was wrong about the Raiders making the playoff's so get out the salt shaker. I just can't see those picks and mistakes like what happened last weekend. In fact, I predict some Card picks against Newton should he feel the need to throw it that much!

Conf Champ predictions:

Denver - provided their receivers catch the damn ball; their defense is the real deal and the only time Manning has ever been able to beat Brady is when he has a great defense to back him up.

'Zona - this one's a bit more tricky and will depend on which side of Cam plays the majority of the game. I'm thinking he struggles early (fumble and/or pick) and takes himself out of the game mentally leaving the way open for Palmer to get just enough done for the win.

Hard to predict Brady will lose, did you see how much pop he was putting on the ball? Dude is getting on in years but his arm is STRONG. Must be that non-Spaghetti-O diet he's on, he's a fitness freak these days.

Cam's mental makeup is a mystery, he seems a bit off to me. He just doesn't seem like the kind of guy you want leading a team in the crunch. Maybe it's just the folly of youth and I'm wrong about him, but I'm thinking Arizona's defense will be having Cam for lunch.

Anyone know anything about this Rogers kid the 9ers just picked up?

And did anyone watch the Kelly introductory conference? I'm at work and all I've gotten to do is read a few of the highlight quotes/responses. Wouldn't it be funny if the 9ers had double digit wins and Harbs slid in the Big House this season? I like Harbs and I still think it would be funny. Wonder what kind of prophetic tweet he'd come up with then? "Asperger's and coaching talent are not a championship combination."

"We're on to the next terminally ill patient." :wow

Do they check the patient for lightning burns? Or maybe an absence of blood? After Darth Bellicose has had his visit?

I just want to see two good games. "Good game" defined as Patriots losing.

And the Bay Area is safe from an invading horde of New England tourists!
