congrats...def still up in the air, as Miami holds the tiebreaker over Denver due to having more conference games played.

Miami is 7-4 but they could easily be 1-10 because *every* game in their potential cardiac arrest six-game winning streak was pulled out of their ass in the 4th quarter. :laughing

While happy with the Raiders current success, I'm going to temper my joy with the reality of a tough stretch ahead.

3 of the last 5 games are on the road against the division (KC, SD, & DEN), ugh... can't underestimate how hard it is to win KC & Denver, and SD is playing much better.

The 2 home games aren't "gimmies", either... Bills & Colts are fighting for playoff spots as well.

This will be a tough stretch that can define the team. But damn, whatta year so far. :thumbup

Good good, let the AFC West beat up on each other and free up a couple of wildcard spots for other teams. :teeth

You know Miami's last three games are all divisional, right? And two of them are on the road with the final being NE? You may want to ease up a bit on the back slapping and congratulatory parade.

I wonder what El-baka-baka-loa's been up to for the past few weeks? I sure do miss those snazzy banners he used to post up for his Bungholes last season. Those things were absolutely the coolest. :laughing

I doubt he will contribute much this year. Even if he returns with a few weeks left, he'll probably not get back into Football Form with the team until the season is over.

Yeah, lots is still up in the air. NE and OAK seems like the only real Sure Thing with Dallas a pretty good candidate to shoe in. I'm perfectly willing to be honest about the Giants though, we have been kicking ass and taking names, but our schedule has been a cream puff for 2 months. The next 5 games are all Chemical Warfare with no mask.

Division, Division, Division, also Steelers and Lions, who are both battling for a playoff spot in tight races.

We got them AFC East bishes covered....put 8 men in the box to stop Ajayi and QB Tannehill will hit you with a 130 QB rating. Try to cover all the receivers and Ajayi will reach 200 yards rushing. Adam Gase is a genius young coach. :teeth

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas...say 4-5 feet of snow in upstate NY? Mmm...frosted 'Fins...it'll be the new sushi craze. :teeth

of course, he's from that mike nolan/mike singletary coaching tree shrub :party

Wat you say?

Gase began working in football as an 18-year old college student at Michigan State. He helped cut up film for former Spartans head coach Nick Saban and has been on the fast track ever since. The 37-year-old just became the NFL’s youngest head coach. He joined the Lions in 2003 as a scouting assistant and later became an offensive assistant and quarterbacks coach.

Nick Saban, eh? interesting.

But he was coach the last time the phins had a 6 game winning streak....

Saban is a hard-ass no-nonsense coach. Seems to have not been lost for the tutelage of young Adam Gase, coach of the year candidate. :thumbup

Difficult travel schedule too. Fly cross-country to Seattle to start this year. Oh let's throw in road games in New England and a short-week Thursday game in Cincy while we're at it. Fly cross-country to San Diego. Fly your travel weary ass home? NO. Instead you're suck in a SoCal hotel for a friggin' week after the Chargers game because next you play the Rams.
