After an investigation into the Twitter account hacking of top offensive lineman Laremy Tunsil, causing him to tumble to the 13th pick, it's been learned the hacker was.....Dolphins QB Ryan Tannehill. :laughing

The trade with the Eagles worked well for Miami, Fins had the #8 pick originally, yawn, #8 is nothing to get excited about. So they trade that to Philly, get two players also, and drop down to #13 where they pick Tunsil.

For the paltry price of dropping from #8 to #13 they get THREE starters out of the deal:

CB Byron Maxwell
LB Kiko Alonso
LT Laremy Tunsil (top-rated O-lineman in the draft)

The only position that is relevant to the Dolphins is 4th, which is where they'll end up in their Division this season.

We got a new awesome coach, gonna 'murder is the Gase' the AFC East this year.

Bengals are on the right track though, they replace a 32-year-old LB with a 34-year-old LB. Now that's football smarts, right there. :p

When the 34 year old is better than the 32 year old, it's an easy decision to make.

DE Jihad Ward from nfl.com:
BOTTOM LINE Above average athleticism for a man his size and he has the effort level that should lead to continued improvement in the areas where he is deficient. Ward is a developmental prospect who has the size to fit as a 4-3 base end or defensive tackle and as a 3-4 defensive end. Is he mean enough to play inside though? He might need a position coach to draw that out of him while he continues to develop.

...Ken Norton Jr. good enough for ya?

Well, he's a LB coach and DC now, so.. no?

jesus christ they traded up to get him.

i love this draft so much.

"We had him targeted all along," Bucs coach Dirk Koetter said. "If you really think about what happened, we really just picked the kicker in the third round. The extra pick we got in the fourth, we gave it back up, used that same third-round pick we were going to use in the first place to take the kicker. That's exactly what happened."

Kicker math.

And the draft is over, none of us have a clue if any of these picks will pan out.

Meanwhile there are lots of UDFA's out there who will be in the Pro Bowl in a few years. :p

True, but it is fun to see the future being planned, nevertheless.

I'm pretty happy with the Raiders draft, solid picks for the defense and a RB to back up Murray. The QB pick of Connor Cook seemed to be right out of the (pre-senile) Al Davis playbook; they really don't need him (McGloin's a decent back up), but trading up to get him kept the Chiefs and the Cowboys from getting him.

Viva Las Vegas, baby! :party
