You said he would be the only good player on a very bad team? Genius! :teeth

No, I said he would show up for a minute, shine for a few games, then choke out, because he has always been a choke artist. Like all QB's who are built on wheels, he is built to fail. Pocket presence or GTFO.

The kid on the Niners I'm really starting to like is Vance McDonald. Anybody know when his contract is up?

Quarterback grade: Colin Kaepernick, 36.1

Kaepernick unable to generate enough through the air

QB Colin Kaepernick struggled for most the game, and outside of a couple of throws on the team’s final drive, failed to move the offense efficiently down the field. Missing on six of his eight passes beyond 20 yards, Kaepernick helped himself by scrambling for 31 yards to extend drives, but his lack of touch ultimately undid him, as he consistently missed his intended target. Under pressure on 17 of his 37 dropbacks, Kaepernick completed just five-of-10 pass attempts when facing pressure for 65 yards.

Last night watching Rodgers hit his receiver perfectly in stride on a full sprint 10 yard crossing pattern, right in his extended hands, without missing a beat reminded me how crappy Kap is as he is unable to make this critical pass.

Choke artist or just lucky when he does connect? The third quarter (I couldn't watch any more because my life was ticking away) was just a flashback to last year. every pass underthrown or aimed at the guy holding the chains. Gawd it was pathetic. And I also wonder about that shoulder surgery permanently disabling him. ASFAIC, he is finished as an NFL QB. Anybody who hires this klown is desperate.

But for all intents and purposes, let me give a hearty McMahon-like "you are correct, sir."

And the lowly Kirk Cousins outplayed him. Not only hitting his receivers in the hands in stride on multiple long throws but throwing into the wind no less.

That was a great show last night. Always nice to see GB lose especially like that.

P.S. If Washington can go to Dallas and pull out a victory on Turkey Day they will prove to be true contenders.

I don't recall anyone here saying Kaep is as good as Rodgers. :laughing

Kaep is 2nd best QB in the entire NFL? Good job son. :thumbup

According to ESPN Stats & Information, Kaepernick entered the game with the NFL's 2nd-best first-half completion percentage, hitting on 73.5 percent of his passes and averaging a robust 11.1 yards per attempt to go with six touchdown passes.

This article is awesome. You can feel the anger Chip Kelly has for his soon-to-be fired GM. Not once but twice Kelly was quoted with "built right now" which is a direct insult to the guy that built the roster....the GM. Finally some proper coach vs GM drama. :laughing

http://www.espn.com/blog/san-franci...-kaepernick-still-searching-for-complete-game

But when you get down like we did, all of a sudden it turns into a throw-every-down game, and we're not built for that right now. We don't have a go-to wide receiver that's going to elicit double coverage and then all of a sudden you're going to get single matchups across the ball and then we can line up in empty sets all day long and throw the ball all over the lot. That's just not the way we're built right now.

I agree Zerox, Kelly and the 1-9ers should build the offense around Kaepernick. what were they thinking??

Only the Giants have beaten Dallas this year and Washington is the only team in the NFC East that has beaten the Giants. I would say the 'Skins have fair odds. NFC East Games are like NFC North games. There is blood on the field and you just can't guess easily, even when one of the teams is a typically bad performer. Lots of old, deep, generational hate in these games.

He will be a good fit in Cleveland next year while they build up the future guy they draft. He can compete with RGIII for the start as a similar sort of mobile QB. Griff has a better pocket presence, but is made of glass.

Romo will be in Denver, waiting for a K-Mack Truck to explode him into little tiny Romo parts.

Just think how good the Broncos would be right now if they had a 100% healthy Kaep. That trade was so close to happening too.

Giants and Dolphins are both on 5-game winning streaks. :teeth

mostly true: tiny romo parts, plus all the parts from the cadavers, baboons, and whatever other species they've used to rebuild him over the years

O My Gawd life could not be better if Denver had Kaep...ok, it could get better if they cloned Kaep and had him start for KC too!:teeth

Yeah, Raiders would be loving it. You have to wonder if the Niners would have been doing better with a QB like that guy in KC, what was his name again...

Laser pointer in bright green is in full effect when Osweiler plays. They shining it right in his eyes.

That's a bit overblown. Par for the course in your case though.
My money is on McCloughan. Just sayin.

So they spot the Raiduhs! four points right off the bat and then they screw the Texans on a fourth and inches? Twice? Refs should be ashamed. :facepalm
