the PoliSink Returns

I think bringing the Polisink back is like inviting your friends over for a swim and feeding them with big bowls of chilli, laced with laxatives. It will not end well.
 
the indifference of the universe to our meaningless suffering is profound--but it will be amusing for me to see whether or not the poli-sink v. 2.0 will fall on it's face a second time, and need to be stomped again, as would apparently be extremely gratifying to many of us here. :laughing

Er, I am kinda the one who is pushing for the resuscitation. BARF is community, not just a moto forum. There is a huge amount of knowledge and wisdom to be shared here. Some of us enjoy the PoliSink, and we kind of think that those who don’t, don’t have to look and participate.

Oh oh oh I can do this one!

The music for the swim party was chosen by 85 of the 100 people in the pool and you can barely hear anything when you're inside. You can also start playing a different song, but "Let it Go" doesn't follow up well to "Fire Water Burn"

This thread is getting a lot of input. I have a suggestion to those like me who want the political forum back. I someone posts something you do not agree with and someone posts a reply you do agree with. Think for a minute before adding your 2 cents. Just click the thumbs up button on the reply. Piling on is one of the main reasons the Political Forum went away. My :2cents
 
If you agree or disagree with someone's politics then manage your own emotions first, find baseline and get back to the thread at a later time.
Just a suggestion.

I am hoping people are listening because there will not be a third times a charm with this.
 
My hope is that this will work out for it is a work in progress. Let's see what's on peoples mind politically w/o bashing any side.
Wait, that appears to be impossible actually.
Yet I will not lower my expectations.

Well maybe it's a good thing your opinion is not the one that matters in regard to the polsink on BARF.

Things got heated and toxic in the polsink but there was a lot really good discussion.

Also, no one is twisting your arm to be apart of the new version of the polsink.

If you don't want to be a part of it, then don't. Easy peasy.
 
Here’s what I know, a right leaning BARFer was the first on scene to help hang cameras after our place was robbed. Left leaning BARFer was first on scene with a pocket full of cash, in the middle of the night, to communicate with police about the possible incarceration of a right leaning BARFer. At the end of the day we are family and we will go each other’s bail.
