The Vaccine Thread.

I’m 2 or 3 weeks out since my 2nd dose of Pfzier and this possibly coincidental, but I noticed, almost immediately, my tinnitus seemed significantly louder. And about 4 days ago my left ear got clogged like water was in in it. I really can’t hear out of my left ear at the moment. Then I saw this yesterday: https://www.npr.org/sections/goatsa...-if-my-ears-ring-or-toes-hurt-after-a-vaccine

Which got me to google: "eustachian tube dysfunction and covid vaccine" which led to this: https://www.drugdiscoverytrends.com/no-clear-link-between-covid-19-vaccines-and-sudden-hearing-loss/

And now I’m bummed that so many people are still experiencing the same thing as me months after their second dose. I’m still hoping it’s coincidental and this will go away soon, because it’s wildly disorienting and honestly, it’s driving me bonkers.

My Tinnitus has gotten a bit louder about a week after my second Moderna but, then again, we listened to two concert videos at more than average volume levels the last few days also.

So should subside a bit.

Fingers crossed for your situation as well as it sounds a bit more serious/loud.

I hope it subsides soon. I've had the water in the ear feeling before, about 20 years ago, and it went away after about a week, so I'm hoping. And maybe none of this is related to the vaccine, but it's a little disconcerting to see a bunch of other folks have the same thing after their vaccines.

I have not noticed a change in my tinnitus. I only notice it when somebody brings up the topic - so thanks. :rolleyes :twofinger

Wow. Just Wow. The level of Stupid....

Private School in Miami Bars Vaccinated Teachers from Contact with Students
A private school in the fashionable Design District of Miami sent its faculty and staff a letter last week about getting vaccinated against COVID-19. But unlike institutions that have encouraged and even facilitated vaccination for teachers, the school, Centner Academy, did the opposite: One of its co-founders, Leila Centner, informed employees “with a very heavy heart” that if they chose to get a shot, they would have to stay away from students.

In an example of how misinformation threatens the nation’s effort to vaccinate enough Americans to get the coronavirus under control, Leila Centner, who has frequently shared anti-vaccine posts on Facebook, claimed in the letter that “reports have surfaced recently of non-vaccinated people being negatively impacted by interacting with people who have been vaccinated.”
How does this woman even function?

Proof that natural selection has failed in a major way.

It is not surprising at all. There is so much misinformation, flip flopping, and flat out false information out there...how does anybody really know what to do? : |

Stop watching and believing asshole anchors who when sued use the defense 'No reasonable person would believe what they said' in court? :laughing

New CDC guidelines for the vaccinated:

https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/vaccines/fully-vaccinated.html

"If you are fully vaccinated you can start doing many things that you had stopped doing because of the pandemic.

When choosing safer activities, consider how COVID-19 is spreading in your community, the number of people participating in the activity, and the location of the activity.

Outdoor visits and activities are safer than indoor activities, and fully vaccinated people can participate in some indoor events safely, without much risk.

If you haven’t been vaccinated yet, find a vaccine."

I got mine yesterday and had a bit of a reaction.

It BURNED going in. During the 15 minute waiting period, I collapsed (while sitting in a chair). I remember saying "hey, I think I need to lie...." and then I woke up on the floor with the staff getting ready to call the ambulance.

I told them not to for reasons I have yet to understand, but about 45 minutes lying down, I was able to walk out with minor shakes.

Still glad I got the shot, but that was a wild one :)

And today I'm feeling pretty good except for a minor headache.

Wow that is wild. Was this your first or second shot? I didn't even feel either of my shots.

The only shot I recall hurting like that was some massive shot (at least the needle looked massive to my 10 year old self) of antibiotics I was given after two courses of oral antibiotics couldn't shake a bout of strep. They jabbed me in the thigh for that one and it made my whole leg burn. I turned so pale the doc made me stay lying down for 30 minutes to be safe.

I was talking with the VA about their side effects at time of injection and they contribute most to anxiety / panic attacks. Which makes sense if you think about it. There is a TON of stressor surrounding the entire event (we've had a full year of this shit).

"In the vaccine, we heard about an injection of the tracking device," Supervisor Don P. Wagner said. "Is that being done anywhere in Orange County?"

It's abundantly clear, this being just one glaring instance, that many in public office have no idea how modern technology works and are easily beguiled into entertaining crazy ideas like this.

I can attest to that, having watched too many Richmond City Council meetings.

We live in strange times where people who have influence over many aspects of our lives are applying idiotic perspectives.

The MisInformation age is in full swing.

So WTF is Tucker Carlson's angle?

Why is he blasting out so much anti-vaccine rhetoric?

Who is paying him? For what?

What this guy is doing is criminal! :thumbdown

I hope he gets sued into oblivion for causing numerous deaths during this pandemic.

He's just promoting what his viewers want to see and hear. : |

I got my 2nd Pfizer dose yesterday morning. No side effects other than being sore at injection site. I think it's amazing we have rolled out the vaccine so fast, very impressive!
