I've had one full on bite, but there were conditions attached.

If getting the cats de-clawed was an option, that potential parent needs to be told to sod off
Really, there is absolutely no need whatsoever to de-claw cats

how much time left J?
for kitties! In SF, after a certain amount of time, the SPCA dumps older kitties at the county shelter...who then put them to sleep. They get a longer lease on life, but still get killed.I think they should go together but maybe that's just me being paternal. They have been together since they were kittens so I'm sure that helps.
Wendizzle, you know the SPCA won't put them down if they don't get adopted. That's the county shelters which I refuse to take them to.

nearest arrival destination to us for the program would be Raleigh or Charlotte
I won't see a friend's animals turned over to a public shelter if it can be helped. and the akitas actually like cats now. who knew?![]()
