Walking Dead season 5

I am not saying she shouldn't be upset. Of course she should, but she came off resentful during the interview. I thought it was disrespectful to Kirkman who was right next to her.

I understand you may be upset that your run on the show is over, but as an actress on this type of show you should somewhat expect the possibility.

I did not cry. If there was a dog killed, I would be crying like a baby.

The last two episodes were kind of "blah". The only good part was Rick 'tapping' the security guard with his car!! :laughing

Beth seemed like a train-wreck. She seemed to be suicidal. Her hanging out near the elevator shaft, seemed to be making a statement about her state of mind.

I was not emotionally invested in her character, so it did not bother me at all.

The actress who played Beth knew SEVERAL Months ago, about this. Why all of the water-works on live TV? It seemed a bit contrived. I wonder how long ago that was filmed; 6 months? She is 29 y/o and RICH!! That should make up for the stress of having to move. It was lame. :thumbdown

I like the fact that Morgan is close behind!!!

Lets not forget tha Beth has an album coming out.

But I am suprised Rick and group didn't lay waste to all in the hallway. And damn Rick, how many times in close range are you going to turn your back? Its all Noah's fault. I knew they should have left him in the car. RIP Beth. Only the hot ones die.

Poor Daryl. Worked so hard to find her, take her back only to lose her, it was like she pulled the trigger herself though, Dawn was shocked. Couldn't tell.

And Daryl cried :cry Whenever they kill somebody off Daryl has to be all like "Yeah, yall know it isn't me, America loves me" :laughing

FTFY

I like Daryl but I wouldn't be devastated if he went. Actually I think Daryl, and his stupid angel wing vest are a bit cheesy. Who picks an angel wing vest? :p

Crossbow is a little impractical too. I can't imagine carrying that around the whole time .. I'd probably toss it after a week. :laughing

Hey being part of an acting troop is not like a real job. My coworkers don't know that I ride bikes, like Japanese flicks, or talk shit all the time.

You have to be emotional to be an actor, even a repressed performance like Daryl. All of the actors may be primadonnas.

I'm not surprised Emily Kinney cried on TD. She said the previous episode she was told she was done.

She has been working and living in Atlanta for 5 years. She talked about leaving her apartment. Imagine being told you're laid off a week from now.

Harley Riders :laughing Him and Carol are in beast mode, they will take over the world :laughing

Another thing that Kirkman discussed is Daryl's sexuality.

It was assumed he was gay because he hasn't banged Carol or Beth. But Kirkman said no.

Now I think he was sexually abused. It fits the white trash/loner profile.

...I like the fact that Morgan is close behind!!!

i nearly missed this part:facepalm i left the room to pee and walked back in right as he spotted the church...the second half is gonna be good! :drool

I didn't see that coming at all. I really felt sorry for Maggie. like, "Good news! Your sister's alive. Nah, she dead."

Beth's head hole should have been way more pink, instead of some weird black void. I guess she didn't have enough brains to stay alive.

Crying, and being emotional is fine. My problem is what she said and the lack of composure. Am I the only one who read thinly veiled anger at Kirkman in the interview? To me it was like she was saying he uprooted her life and stole her friends.

My problem is not that she has feelings, my problem is that she should show a little class and not talk about tough your life is on national TV in front of the creator of the show who gave you the job in the first place. Of course I can imagine what it is like but as already said by others boohoo. It comes with the line of work. Also you're famous and for the most part make a hell of a lot more than the average person.

Say something like it was 5 great years I will remember forever, and while I am very very sad to go (cry here), I am grateful for the opportunity. I made a lot of great friends.

Not...it was really hard cause like, I had an apartment there, and I had to do my job and handle my apartment situation at the same time!!!1!

I didn't interpret it like that. I will be watching it again with the wife tonight, though. I'll have that in mind during her segments and see if I feel differently in the morning.

Back to the show:
I was a little surprised that Noah was the only ward that left with the group. Are we to assume that now that Dawn and McDonnell are gone, the guard/ward situation is now more mutually beneficial?

Re: a new gay character. Does that mean that Tara's going to get a girlfriend in the second half of the season? :laughing

Let me fix this for you. The best part was after running down the cop with his car and then shooting him, Rick telling his corpse to, "Shut up."

Meh season, did not care for Beth. What happened to the ruthlessness they showed in the church killing the cannibal crew? Why did they turn all namby-pamby when faced with a kill-em-all rescue of Carol and Beth? Bleh, c'mon writers.

Stupid TV tactics in the hallway trade. Lots of people would have been shot if more bullets had been fired. Rick asked if anybody wanted to join them. I didn't see anybody exiting the building with them, but that doesn't mean somebody won't. Nobody was really interesting. The doctor maybe?

I do like the fact that Rick isn't soft anymore. If you think back to a few seasons ago when both him and son were giant pussies. Now they know better and will cap anyone that crosses their way. Like Lone Wolf and Cub.

I still think they shoulda mowed all the cops down and taken over the hospital. they would have too, but for some reason decided to show mercy and not slaughter everyone in the hallway. the preacher man should stay at the hospital, what with his infected foot and all.

as it was...i was sad. hard to believe she's 29. she acted like an innocent little teenage girl in her interview others are talking about. maybe she has always led a sheltered life, dunno.

The dichotomy of Rick is fascinating. He ran over then killed the ATL cop for being treacherous. He could have caught him easily, and Sasha was not dead.

But to be able to be a family man and a vicious killer is a challenge for any actor.

How portrayals of hitmen have been able to be nice guys at home and ruthless at work?

Or ridiculous heroes who waste his foes as cruelly as a villain, then his family gives him a big hug.

Andrew Lincoln is doing a great job making his viciousness seem acceptable.

OHHH, Stop it Sanjuro!!! You are going to make me cry!!! :wtf
This broad is RICH!!! She has not been digging ditches in ATL for the past 5 years, maikng $11/hr. She will still get royalties for the rest of her life. It was not one week ago, that she learned of her fate. I'm sure that was filmed 4-6 months ago. Oh, and I bet the apartment was included as part of her compensation. I feel as bad for her as I do for any other lottery winner.

IMO, that would have made Rick no better than the Governor when he wanted to take the prison. Personally, I want Rick more moral than the Governor... even if it is only slightly more at this point. :laughing
