Walking Dead season 5

What were the two guys who hit on Carol doing too? They were on a mission, but it didn't really talk about it.

I don't think what they were doing was important--it was another chance for Carol to be helpless while she was up to no good. Plus, the guy who was offering to teach her how to shoot struck me as a good stand-in for her abusive husband Ed. In other words, she is way over guys like him.

More Dead to come :thumbup

It's official: AMC is moving forward with its Walking Dead companion series in a major way.

The top-secret drama, which went through the pilot process with the title of Cobalt (and Fear the Walking Dead), will join the flagship series on the network as the cabler continues to focus on scripted fare. In addition to ordering the pilot to series, AMC has preemptively renewed the drama for a second season. The first season will consist of six hourlong episodes — just like the flagship series did. The drama will premiere on AMC in the "late summer," with season two set for 2016.

Wait, companion series? Did I miss that first season?

Meh episode - definitely gave the sense they've been sheltered from the worst of things for a long time, but Alexandria isn't exactly tiny town in the middle of nowhere. How'd they escape notice for so long?

More and more I question this too. The town is huge. Going to be impossible to defend from people, and I'm frankly shocked that it has been from zombies as well. Looks to be maybe 50 people in all?

How many times have we seen zombies find a gap in a fence or get through the security lines in the camp by the quarry? Woodberry? Even the prison had gaps in the depths.

No security? I'm still confuzzled on that.

I keep waiting for Rick to get his mind together and ask about their history. Have they been attacked, had to defend themselves. Remember Terminus was a stable town that went crazy after being taken over and rapey.

Right - Rick's big 3 questions.

How many walkers have you killed?

How many people have you killed?

Why?

So far looks like the answers are:

Not many

Who the fuck knows

this is going to turn into something good for the show. I think they are dragging it out a bit though. this little glimpse into the town is taking too long and, it seems, they are only setting Crazy Rick & Co. up for some really big heartbreak/loss:(

If I remember correctly, the congresswoman said the whole greater DC area was evacuated when the apocalypse began, so that might account for it being a little light on walkers / survivors.

I was expecting the A to take him back to Terminus and freak him out for some reason.

What about the W and the A?

the W, I don't know. the A, I think the kid has some sort of OCD or has found an offbeat way of dealing with the world around him.

ooooooooooohhh:facepalm because they are about to commit adultery:laughing

Of course it is. I don't think anyone doubts that.

I'm just concerned what it says about me that I want ^^^^THAT to be what the writer and/or director WANT me to associate the imagery with.

It is a room full of writers and it would be ridiculous to think it wasn't an intentional reference. :laughing They knew what they were doing.

This W group...there W's in Richmond too right? Didnt it say wolves or something, or am I imagining that?

Anyway, whoever they are they definitely do some shit with the dead. They cut up all those bodies there.

I don't know about dragging it out. Now that they are at Alexandria there is a ton of comic material. They are moving through it. I am curious where they will leave off the season.
