Walking Dead season 5

Loved the episode, but ended up being bothered. I'm a nit picky bastard...

1) When Morgan was fighting the two wolves, at one point one of the bad guys was standing right next to Morgan's AR, but chose NOT to pick it up?

2) Morgan clicks that Sig he got from the wolf over and over at the approaching zombie, but doesn't try to clear the failure?

1. Well, if I was a Wolf, reaching for a rifle which was possibly secured or even unloaded/empty chamber would be a tactical mistake.

2. I believe the Sig was unloaded. I watched that scene a few times and I didn't see a jam, and the average viewer would assume the gun was empty.

Also, I believe these 2 Wolves were pledges or prospects to the full Wolf gang. They were dirty, torn clothing, and unsupplied, which is why the gun was unloaded.

The mystery of the Wolves will make a great season 6 storyline, and I am glad the filmmakers didn't give it away.

Why kill red parka guy like that?

Why didn't Daryl recon the place when he saw cans on strings?

You know your choice of zombie apocalypse weapon sucks when you've got a snub-nosed revolver and a loner with a wooden closet rod kills more walkers than you.

The wolves seem to just be killing people... that guy was going to kill morgan also... so they probably seek out other looney people to join and kill those who wont fit their society?

I felt like daryl was a bit lazy on this one... he did notice the cans but that was it... I also feel like the doors opened way to quick and the zombies came fast... seemed unrealistic compared to the rest of the show.

Morgan and his stick :thumbup

daryl definitely saw the cans, and broken locks on the majority of those trailers. we all have dumb moments?

Since when has harley ever made an inline 4? Damn special effects. Great episode though, though I'm getting really mad at all my shows making me wait a year betwen breaks. The wolves, I pitty the puppies! Glad the doc dies because I coudn't believe the character. A wife/child beating alcoholic surgeon? Thats pretty screwed up right there. Anybody know how long the break will be this time?

i don't think the surgeon is dead, he slashed the throat of the Queen Been womans husband with the machete in the last scene. Queen Bee looked at her husband basically dead on the ground, made a constipated face, and told Rick to "do it" which i took to mean "shoot my husband before he turns"

interesting to note that QBs family is all dead now. i'm expecting her, and the entire community, to turn a little harder now. they will, of course, have a pacifist faction to cope with because: plot device

i'm expecting the wolves to spend an emisode using the pictures that were left behind to try to figure out where whoever sprung their zombie trap is, and whom they are

The wolves murdered the whole camp of people from the episode before last. They have something where they won't kill walkers and want to make all humans they encounter walkers. Hence the carving of the W and slitting the throat. I imagine their reasoning/motivation has something to do with their Native American story they told Morgan.

As for the wolves being par of a bigger group, I'm not so sure. Everything that has been shown about them shows they're pretty crafty. But I'd think it far fetched that those two crackheads could have killed Noah's whole town. I believe that was implied with the wolves warning and the truck that Rick and co crashed into with all the W carved walkers.

I like that theory about who Rick shot. But a few things seem odd.

Doctor Abuser was being held on the ground, in front of the entrance to that courtyard. After Rick pulled the trigger, he looked up and saw morgan. Indicating that's the direction he shot and he did indeed kill doctor abuser. I believe Rick also turned from QB towards Doctor Abuser when she gave the command.

QB also was holding her husband's head, so to shoot him would likely have shot her.

But, I rally think your theory is possible. I'm 50/50 on this, guess we'll know in October...

see i didn't pick up the detail you did. hummm. indeed another cliffhanger.

if it is Doctor Man that rick shot, he's never gonna get anywhere with the Blonde Mom.

someone was holding zone the wife beater too... so whoever rick shot was in super close range to whoever was holding or restraining the person... i love the idea that he showed the husband of QB mercy and shot him...

If I was a towns person I would be like WTF did he just shoot this fool in front of everyone haha

also.... who let Daryl and Morgan into the camp if everyone was at the meeting and rick closed and locked the gate...

interesting to see morgan and ricks collision. Morgan seems to not have changed at all, considering he didn't want to kill those 2 guys trying to kidnap him or whatever. His first meeting with rick is him walking up on an execution rick is doing on the wife beater. It's definitely going to be interesting to see what morgan thinks of rick and carrrrrl now that they have changed so much.

When does next season start again?

Big red was holding Doctor Abuser.

QB sent the guy who asked Preacher Pussy to close the gate back to watch it when rick told them walkers were inside.

I think it's odd, stupid, that Rick found the gate open and knew there were zombies inside during the day light and ran around, not telling anyone, into the dark hunting for the walkers.

october is when the next season starts...

the new walking dead show should start this summer

Awww, cheer up sunshines!!!

I think Rick shot the wifebeater, Governess and Rick had talked about there being a moment when he'll need to kill the guy, and she gave him the go ahead. She was still holding Reg so shooting him in her arms seems a little unlikely.

WTG NinjaMorgan!

Stuck in a van, seems popping the trunk would be a good escape, push them all away and run over them to the gate?

Glenn, bad ass, somehow able to crawl away after getting shot without making noise or leaving a trail.

Why is Coral suddenly a stay at home pussy? Shouldn't he be out chasing tail?

Carol, still a scary mother fucker. But I got confused on how she gave Rick a gun, still had her gun, but Daryl gave up his gun?

Daryl should have totally seen the trap coming, fail!

+1 on the Wolf guy not grabbing Morgan's AR...

Also, weird creepy vibe between Daryl and gay guy?

Just me?

Ok then...

Obligatory "doesn't Mossad use .22's?"

There's a pistol, I think made by Ruger, that holds 30 rounds of .22 LR. If not for Humans being major concern, I'd think it would be perfect.

There's a lot of talk about Daryl possibly being closeted, or at least making his character in the show so (not sure if it's addressed at all in the comic books). So no, I don't think it's just you.

Other notes: Carol is awesome. I love her character.

I think the Morgan/Rick meeting had to be crafted by the writers like that. Morgan being pretty OK in the head (not completely), running into Rick, who helped him out so much, only to find he's just executed a man. That's heavy. Especially after Morgan's line earlier: "All life is precious. Thank you."

Daryl not seeing the trap was definitely pretty unbelievable. Why show the strung up cans and busted locks?

I don't like Sasha or Gabriel. But I appreciate what that scene was about.

Sasha needs to die! I think her being a bad ass shot will keep her alive for a while. But I'm curious, with all her galavanting, what happened to a sentry in the tower?

Seems they were so concerned about that, and now it's been forgotten.
