Apparently, some people believe that they can order prescription pharmaceuticals with a court order.

Some doctors are refusing to treat unvaccinated patients. Last month, an Alabama physician posed beside a sign announcing he would not treat any unvaccinated patients as of Oct. 1.

Earlier this month, a Florida doctor sent a letter to her patients informing them that she would not be treating any unvaccinated patients in person after Sept. 15.

Will cost him $350,000 per game missed.

The NBA has rejected a request by Andrew Wiggins to be exempt from getting a COVID-19 vaccine. The ruling, announced on Friday, means that the No. 2 scorer of the Golden State Warriors for the 2020-21 season could miss at least half of the 2021-22 regular season games.

"The NBA has reviewed and denied Andrew Wiggins' request for religious exemption from the San Francisco Department of Public Health's order requiring COVID-19 vaccination for all participants age 12 and older at large indoor events. Wiggins will not be able to play in Warriors home games until he fulfills the city's vaccination requirements," said the league in a statement.

Wiggins has not received a COVID-19 vaccine, citing religious beliefs. The league has not made it mandatory for players to get the jab but cities like San Francisco and New York are banning NBA players who have not been vaccinated from entering their teams' home arenas.

He probably feels persecuted, even though he made a decision to put himself in that position.

Again, in addition to making a decision to put themselves at risk, anti vaxers are putting everybody else at risk to in addition to the wide array of secondary issues they've created like filling ICU's and emergency rooms so that others with real need can't get in.

That's like hanging a sign behind the register that says, "We reserve the right to refuse service"

The new treatment thing is nebulizing hydrogen peroxide.

Please do not do this. The risk of hemorrhaging into your esophagus and lungs is super high.

:facepalm

But those recommendations have not stopped some people from using hydrogen peroxide in a nebulizer and documenting the experience online. Melanie Carver, the foundation’s chief mission officer, said the group has tracked related misinformation in Facebook, YouTube and TikTok posts that are reaching hundreds of thousands of views. A now-deactivated TikTok account titled “h202therapy” showed a video of a child on a nebulizer with a caption suggesting hydrogen peroxide was being used, Carver said.

Who the fuck is coming up with these moronic ideas?

Yeah but Drs sign a Hippocratic oath, and often receive tax payers monies, so there’s that.

They’re obligated to provide care and do no harm, but they are NOT obligated to take whatever patient walks in the door (and indeed many don’t accept insurance that you might have). Given the potential risk TO them and other patients I have no problem with them setting vaccination as a prerequisite. Barring a medical crisis those patients that have opted not to can go elsewhere.

Voter suppression strategy?

Well, there was that Breitbart guy, who said the dems said everyone should get vaccinated, knowing that conservatives would do the opposite of whatever they say, and as a result it was a 3d chess ploy to kill off conservatives.: |

Seriously though, those troll farms just crank out misinformation, all it takes is for them to plant the seed into fertile ground and watch it spread across the internet like weeds and then some unscrupulous types figure out how to monetize it with video clicks or whatever.

The information age was incredible, there was so much potential. The disinformation age is fucking weird and I fear we will never come out of it.

I think they are bound to provide emergent care, once stable they can walk away from the pt.

I would imagine most Covid pts showing up to the ED, require emergent care.
