What Are You Thinking Of Right Now?

I am thinking that I'm excited that today kicks off GapWest 2025, a week of riding my buddies do every fall, a counterpoint to our spring Deals Gap trip, and I'm looking forward to having a good time.
 
I’m thinking about all the odd stuff I have acquired with my new place in Mineral.

DEF is a combination of urea and deionized water. It is used to reduce the amount of nitrogen oxides (NOx) emitted into the air by 2010 or newer diesel engines. The solution is made up of 32.5% urea and 67.5% deionized water.
In storage, it’s temperature sensitive and has a lifespan year, used in a diesel emissions. SCR.

For you, it’s a fertilizer use it on your lawn plant/ UREA, nitrogen
 
bit of a heartbreaking day at our senior center today. elderly couple walks in. first time attending. she walked him over to a chair, asks him to sit, and then says she needs to talk. me: can i introduce you around to other of the guests? her: no, i need to talk to someone who can help me. now, please. i pulled aside one of our counselors, who guided her to a quiet corner where they sat and chatted for awhile. observing, i noticed him watching her. intently. i asked him if he wanted to join her. he said, no, she told me to stay here, and i do what she tells me. but he watched her the entire time, his eyes fixed on her. at one point, she got up and went to get coffee. a cup for herself, and one for him. his eyes followed her every move. like nothing else that was going on existed or mattered. the counselor told me after that this woman said he was suffering from dementia, and she was looking for help - information to know how to help him.

have no way of knowing how long they’ve been together, but am thinking, that right there is love and devotion. could see it in both of them. am so grateful they reached out, and we were there when they did.

To experience that has likely changed you forever.

I hope the couple gets the help they need.

I’ve been there. I have experienced the unimaginable pain that dementia brings.

I think, breathe deep and flow. Always attempt to feel the pinch of another’s shoes it leads to better understanding their perspective.

You buy a diesel truck? DO NOT PUT DEF IN THE FUEL TANK!
You will contaminate the entire fuel system, it's corrosive and will crystallize throughout the fuel system which will destroy the fuel pump(s) and injectors, filters, etc and can lead to total failure if run for even a short time. And cost $$$$$ to fix.
