What Are Your Valentines Day Plans?

I have been getting flack from a few of my dining providers, about walking in single.
One woman outright asked me where my wife was? I've never been in this place, before.
The gist, close to V day, I need a date to eat dinner? Not posted couples only, but still.
Never bumped into this attitude.
I don't like cooking in my rig, too small, too smelly, can't get away from the lingering heat & fumes.
I'm gonna hide from the frustrated match makers, and stay home with a tv dinner.

Option B. Dinner Chicago Massacre Style, They do Valintines Day
 
knew he’d be leaving at o’dark thirty this morning. i left a card for him in the one place i knew for sure he’d find it - his coffee machine. was barely awake, and even though he tried to be quiet, i heard him when he snuck back in. he kissed me, and whispered happy valentines day. ❤️
 
We were on a trip to the NV desert with the bikes. Not so much for Valentine's Day itself, but to celebrate the 35th anniversary of me taking a very big chance and making a move on the man who had become my best buddy. It just happened to be on Valentine's Day. I was nervous, didn't want to ruin a great friendship, but it paid off in spades. Anyway, we spent 2 nights at the hot springs, but weather forecasts were changing rapidly for everywhere we wanted to go next, not to mention getting back over the Sierra after this latest storm. The 6" of rain predicted at our place on the creek sent us back home early. No big deal, all the hard work has been done, and it will be easy to load up and head out in a week or two when the desert has soaked up all the delicious rain and snow. Also, a trip to the hot springs is always worthwhile! Today we will unload the van, grab a nice lunch, maybe take a walk on the waterfront, and pick up all the treasure that the storm threw up onto the beach. Nothing says "I love you" like carrying my 5gal buckets of rocks back to the car for me ♥️

Yes! This was our first time there, mid-1990.
 
It's corny, but every year I get my gal and our three boys a box of chocolates. Nothing fancy, just a little something to say I love you. Sweety gets a nicer one than the kiddies because she's been around the longest :laughing
 
I told her happy valentines day and gave her an above average kiss this morning! We're good. :love

I made the SO a card that's so good she sent pics of it to her friends. And she didn't get me a card for the first time ever - she loves giving cards so this is a big deal. So Im good, I've score enough points to last me weeks :LOL:

She'll work late and we'll probably get takeout. Then I bet we'll watch the movie The Gorge from above, ha.

A lot of marriages fail because it eventually gets boring. My wife married a lunatic... so it's never boring! :laughing
 
Work of course, then pizza as Friday usual and a bottle of Belle Glos Clark and Telephone pinot noir.
 
Since Friday is a late day for me and the restaurants are jammed for amateur night, we’ve opted for tomorrow. Very special texts throughout the day and canoodling tonite, n mebbe tomorrow if we are both lucky. There is a new bougie place in our tiny mountaintop burg 6 miles away which has been described as extraordinary. We both can really cook high end stuff but he thinks in terms of landmark years and so he made reservations for tomorrow to celebrate 3.5 decades as best friends and lovers.

I cooked dinner while she took a nap. :giggle: I'm not sure which part she enjoyed the most. We're not young.
