What have you made lately?

Is that plastic sheet (polycarbonate, HDPE, etc) heated then pressed against the mold to obtain the shape?
Nope. Its machined acrylic.

The process im describing is really hard to understand until you see it. The acrylic pattern i make is a representation of the parts that will be molded. The acrylic pattern is basically disposable. Once the mold is created, the pattern is no longer used. The aluminum however will live on imbedded into the mold and all the parts that we mold will make contact with the aluminum. We do a type of molding known as “RIM” Reaction. Injection. Molding. Other companies do RIM molding but, our process to create molds is our own.

Looks cool.

Alchoholica... love it..! :laughing

Whay is it called a battle vest? Is this something you wear in the mosh pit? :nerd
