Work In Progress
I'm sorry but you are broken CDONA, pecans are the king of cookie/pie nuts.
OMG yum. I want those cookies. Lots of dough.
lol - it was love at first sight the first time i laid eyes on my dude (i was 14 at the time). his attention was hard to get. all the girls had a crush on him, but he ignored us all. several months went by, and i overheard him at lunch telling someone he loved angel food cake. i baked him one. he loved it. i baked him another one. next thing you know we’re… well, you know. still at it. he loves my cookies too. That may be true for some, hell we had a Pecan & Wine Fest last weekend in Camp Verde,
a fat 20 miles away. https://visitcampverde.com/pecan-and-wine-festival/
But that day, it worked.
My GF was bragging about the ability to "get her way" by a fresh batch of CC, to sway any man or boy.
That was a bitch slap challenge for me, and I embraced it.
I was never around pecan orchards, walnuts were everywhere in Ca. I have some in jars on a shelf now,
gleaned from an orchard, with a 5 gal bucket.
I did spend a couple of months harvesting walnuts for a farmer in Wooden Valley.
He would run the shaker and do wind rows, for me to collect with the harvester, some days after dark,
I would carry a whistle so he could find me, that, and the dirty red glow of the exhaust manifold.
So, a Pro, not broken, , ,
took a lot of experimenting, but i finally have a recipe i like (so much variety in how people like their cc cookies). if you want to try it, i’ll send it to you.OMG yum. I want those cookies. Lots of dough.

If you ever want to upgrade that sub this is the one to consider.I put together a pretty sweet analog stereo system.

I have a pristine Nakamichi ZX-7 stored in my garage. I haven't used it in many years. Top notch tape decks. And the ZX-7 is better than the Dragon, spec-wise.I put together a pretty sweet analog stereo system.

thinking back on this, made him an angel food cake tonight - for old times sake. i reminded him of the first time - ‘awww you loved my cooking’. he rolled his eyes and reminded me of the tuna sandwich i’d made him around that same time. said it was disgusting (i opened a can of tuna, didn’t squeeze out the oil, and put it between two slices of buttered bread). i laughed and said ‘you knew i’d get better at making them’. he said ‘no, i figured i could make my own tuna sandwiches’.lol - it was love at first sight the first time i laid eyes on my dude (i was 14 at the time). his attention was hard to get. all the girls had a crush on him, but he ignored us all. several months went by, and i overheard him at lunch telling someone he loved angel food cake. i baked him one. he loved it. i baked him another one. next thing you know we’re… well, you know. still at it. he loves my cookies too.
