What say you, best BURGER in San Jose area?

I've been wondering the same thing ever since I moved to the south bay from the east bay, where I was a Barney's addict. :p I tried Red Robin but was NOT impressed.

I miss Steak 'n Shake. Not a one in California.

define expensive?

I think we as a society see burgers being these cheap items to make due to the proliferation of fast food and so we aren't used to paying real entree prices.

If an entree runs $16-$30 at an average restaurant then I should expect to pay that same price for a burger? I feel I should...

Naegle Park Garage???? I've been there for brunch and was impressed - I think I will check it out this weekend.

Even though it's a chain and it should be the same at each one, they all seem to be a bit different. And if the Juicy Burger on Bascom Ave. is still there...that was is the best one.

Braddah Rob, i agree! The Bascom location is the original spot but they shut it down almost 10 years ago. The Blossom Hill location is the one I have been going to the past few years and I still recommend it. :cool

Not in San Jose, but the best burger i've ever had was the Bent Burger at Benders. I'm sure lot's of ya'll have been there:)

Oh, and I know it's not a burger place, you should also try this place:

Chick-fil-A..! :twofinger

1 First Street
53 Headquarters Dr.
San Jose, CA 95134

:laughing

ummm YEAH!

I will compile a list from here and my reddit thread and then see what I make of it.

Someone on reddit recommended In&Out and someone said 5guys.... FUUUUUU

That actually sounds good... I love bleu cheese on a burger... :drool

Try a burger with bleu cheese INSIDE the patty! I take my ground beef and form it into 1/4 lb portions. Take two of those portions and flatten into patties, then place 1/4 lb of bleu cheese between those patties and seal the edges. Pop onto the grill and cook to your preference (medium rare!) and throw onto a kaiser roll or other large roll, add the fixings of your choice and chow down!

Sorry - if the menu has a steak for $16 then there's no way I'm going to pay $16 for a burger. A $16 steak means the burger should be in the $9 range...

There is a Juicy Burger on Bascom, at Elliot St - one block south of San Carlos/Stevens creek. Is that not part of the chain?

I have been looking for a Pastrami Burger, but I will almost settle for a good burger at this point. I have not found anything that I have liked.

M8trix has 2 for 1 burgers on Tuesday! They are big but kind of a average burger. Onion Rings are GREAT!!!
