So, I went to Clarke's today. I ordered the bacon burger. The patty was smaller than I expected. It was a decent burger, but I expected better. It might be because it's what I know, but I prefer the burgers at St. Johns.
Sorry about the focus issues.
But, the pleasant surprize were these little pieces of heaven. These beer battered mushrooms were so good!!! So much artery-clogging awesomeness in these little bite-sized morsels.

Clarke's also has good shakes in which St John's doesn't. A good shake is vital for a complete cheeseburger experience.
Oh, and that little deli at the corner of Alpine Road and Portola has really good burgers and, a killer mocha shake.
