I think it depends. Cardio sports such as swimming and soccer produce amazing levels of stamina and endurance. Gymnasts exhibit a level of fine motor skills, balance, strength and spacial relations that are hard to find anywhere else. Fighters and certain ball/hockey players display amazing levels of pain management, cardio, and hand/eye coordination. I don't believe there is any one best athlete as they all have different skills required.

I vote rugby. Or olympic level speed walking:p

I voted Motocross... I first though hockey or soccer but there are many points in the game they are stopped or traded in and out off the bench. Basketball is the same thing and a much slower pace than Hockey or Soccer. Motocross there is no rest, no pause and it takes strength to through a 200lb bike around for a 15 lap qualifier and a 20 lap main.

Where's the choice for gladiatorial combat? No, not that American Gladiator crap. The real deal.

:laughing

Soccer? wtf? It's running a lot while kicking a ball every 7 minutes. Can't get much gayer than that.

The point is that you're running the entire time and still have the power, control, and endurance to deliver powerful precision strikes.

My choices were between boxers and basketball players due to their conditioning and fantastic balance and hand eye coordination.

Basketball players have shitty conditioning. Watch an NBA game, everyone's huffin and puffin in the 4th quarter. That shit is not tolerated on the pitch. And I'm more of a basketball player than a soccer player :|

I'm sorry Miran but soccer players look like a bunch of pussies the way they roll around on the ground in pain after they get a sprained ankle or after they run into another player. The next thing you see is the player being taken away on a stretcher all the while in seeming agony. Surprise! Three minutes later he is back on the field like it is a new day. :laughing
