What will be your next motorcycle?

Thinking about a Tiger 900 Rally in a few years.
Just worried it's not going to be as much fun on the twisties as my FZ-09 and I'll regret it.

Thanks mate - I hope to be back over periodically as we'll miss the heck out of California. Alas the projects will have to take a hiatus for a bit as space is harder to come by

Why I’m liking the 900 GT Pro.

@SFMCjohn Lose your garage?

:thumbup

no, but the garage is full … had to make room for the new-to-me ‘07 KLR by finally getting rid of one that I’d worn out. :facepalm:laughing

ok, the two bikes I was thinking seriously of before I purchased yet another pre-gen KLR was the Kawasaki Versys 300X and the Honda CBX 500. maybe next time. :dunno :ride

Someone had previously suggested the SV650.
That particular advice was pure brilliance, IMO

I keep coming back to cafe racers. Either bmw or triumph modern cafe racers…

Was looking at some of the k100 caferacers on BaT but was too high for me

Looking to potentially add a Ducati 748 to the stable but supposedly a torture rack and has annoying maintenance intervals.

I lived with an 888 Superbike for six years and there are many similarities. At least if you scratch up a 748 you can find parts for it, that wasn't the case for the 888. Looks beautiful in your garage and fun on a twisty road, but terrible in traffic and through town.

Oil change every 3000 miles and new cam belts every 6000 or two years. You can get away with three years if it doesn't sit unused for long periods, but you're taking a chance of one breaking if you wait longer. Those are the important points on the maintenance.

Putting my 990R thoughts on hold. Surprising that nothing has been said and it has been a no show.
KTM issues may have halted production.

I am going to go riding and swap bikes with a friend that has a new 990, maybe that will juice me up to say fug it an just hang in there.
