What will be your next motorcycle?

This K75 build on BAT was really neat: https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1992-bmw-k75-7/

Being a young rider in the 70's and riding those slippery seats that tail scares me and I would not partake. Looks awesome though.

Might snag a DRZ400SM to add to the stable...just for the fuck-around-about-town riding if nothing else...though a Ducati hypermotard is also tempting.
Definitely test ride a 698 hyper. A lot more fun than the DRZ. I've ridden both and bought the 698.

Used Hypers are CHEAP. You know "a guy" who's access to the DLR stuff.

That black k75 is dope except I think the short seat makes it have too much frontal mass prescense. Certainly a lot better than the sloping downward seat most K bike builds appear to have.

I was going for this one but once past 11k I didn't want to do it. At auction end bid the BaT/misc fees + shipping to here would've been likely 18k range and maybe even more. To me this is the visual! Though I do not like the majorly aggressive rear sets though could've probably been repositioned. The lines flow and visual acuity is balanced in my eyes.

I may consider something like this to my cb650 tail. The tanks look similar and so does the rear seat/frame angle

I mentioned earlier in this thread that my next "new" bike will be one of my "old" ones. I'm returning my 2006 GSXR1000 track bike to pure street duty. I'm giving that "old" friend the overdue attention it deserves from the ground up.
I just picked up most of my parts from the paint shop. Still waiting on the tank and upper fairing while they get a suble ghosting of charcoal grey.
I have to admit...my garage is covered in moto candy right now.
Stay tuned....

It's a Honda CBR 1100 XX, a Blackbird. No dashboard electronics, old man suspension when set soft, brutal engine and it's prettier than the origami styling of today.
I always liked these! I would add large day glow orange “honda wings” over the front fairings to make it a “red-wing blackbird”

As promised.
As soon as the rest of the stuff arrives, you'll get some new pics and I'll get a brand new 2006 GSXR1000.
I can't fuggin' wait.
The old adage is true....watched paint never dries....
