wheelies.

I have an 02 F4i. Really easy with the clutch, not so easy with the throttle cuz my weight (from what I'm thinking). Just remember that if you want to use the clutch, don't rev too high or pop it too slow or else you won't get the front wheel up.

Remember, keep your right foot on the brake. If something goes wrong, ease on the brake. :thumbup You'll be poppin some in no time

When i was learning wheelies body position was the big thing i found that i had to sit with my lower back touching the back seat and the bike did all the work

+1 yuppp...more weight to the back and off the tank=wheelie :teeth

^practice on a empty straight...with friends...just in case ya know

Also, dont rush yourself... be comfortable with everything before you try something new.. Don't wheelie for the chicks or to impress your friends.. Do it because you feel confident in your riding skills and wanna add a little something else to it.. =) Once you're comfortable you shouldnt really need tips... you yourself should get a feel for the bike and know that you're putting too much weight on the front, or where your bike makes its power...

Also.. with power wheelies, its very easy to loop it.. so be VERY careful... watch your rear brake... also.. if you are putting it down after its up, ease it down, dont just cut the throttle or else your gonna get ur nuts rammed into the gas tank.. lol.. and even worse, if ur wheels arent straight... YIKES!!

GOOD LUCK MAN

i though r6s were not that heavy, just put one foot on the passenger foot peg and one on the peg with a toe on the brake. 1st gear and clutch it, keep giving it more gas till the bike comes up high enough for you to use the break. you prolly won't be able to ride 1st out to long but you will get the hang of clutching it faster

u think i should do the front pegs first or the front and back peg.

oh and that yamaha meet is on the 27th. im tryna c about the people with yamaha bikes in oakland meeting at 3:00 then riding out at 3:30. but i gotta know who all is gonna come so we dont leave no one.

^ahah see you at the final stop man!

i was doing power wheelies all day today... they weren't up in the air for long, but i'm new and just learning :-D but hey....8-10k rpm, then give it that throttle, and you're set.

whew, what a rush.

Ru doing circles yet??? in tracy???

No i took like 2 months off. moving and trying to find the spot. I can do like almost a whole circle around the whole parking lot.. but i got my hand brake down and can do ss and little spreaders.. i think someone bought the building where i go so i got to look for a new spot maybe soon

who has experience with an 01 F4i?

me

if you have to ask how or if your bike can wheelie, then you shouldnt be doin it....

spend enough time on the thing and you'll have less questions

oh, and stay the hell away from pow-pow wheelies.

1st gear, right foot covering brake, left foot on rear passenger peg, pull clutch in, give gas, let clutch out, hold on....
