where to knee drag in the area

I have no clue how people like this survived through childhood. This thread is a great argument for removing warning labels from everything and just letting natural selection take over

Problem is that he may take out others in his time of learning/dying.

If this vid is of his driving skills on RWR, I'm going to avoid RWR until he's out of circulation. He's not drifting, he's out of control. :mad

Did OP post a photo of himself with name and license plate visible?
Interesting individual if Google search results are accurate.
Would explain the ankle bracelet.

The #1 google link, the vids and twits seem to.:Popcorn

So to make a positive suggestion...

OP, have you considered track days? Doesn't have to be a big track - small kart tracks often run minibike / supermoto track days that are great fun, and allow you to drag the crap out of some knee in a relatively inexpensive setting. Once you get a taste of the track in that manner, riding hard on the street loses its appeal in a lot of ways.

Is Stockton too far? I know they run cheap days down there.

"Drifters" are likely the biggest hazard to motorcyclists on the backroads.

Dude. I was on 25 last weekend and right before the little detour I had a red truck headed down the hill almost sideways and in my lane.

Flatbill wearing motherfucker. I was in my lane just like, "Great I am going to die because of brotard".

I dunno about you all, but I’ve absolutely gotten a knee down playing that game where you lean the bike over at Dave & Busters.

Hey Kevin, welcome to BARF. :welcome

I have to admit to being the one who sent him over here from AdvRider. I believe it's a serious request about the roads. I can't say anything about that BMW video though. :rolleyes

The race track suggestions don't help with the 50 mile radius. Although it looks like Sonoma is close enough.

Is there already a thread listing the good roads within 50 miles of San Francisco? That would probably be most helpful.

Do you guys think you can treat this as a real request and put aside the dog pile stuff for a few days?

This. A million times this.

Most of us have done some questionable crap at one point in our lives and were lucky we didn't / it wasn't captured on the internet for all to view.

Let's show a little more respect for the new membership, this particular person included. I'm not saying do not comment or discuss, but lets be more respectful in the delivery our posts. Let's up the friendliness and lower the petty attacks, and sarcasm.

$10 dollar barf donation incoming?? :laughing

Wait a minute. Does that mean you take the tenner out of the right pocket and put it in the left? OK, so we need video, or it never happened......

I’m not going to recommend any good roads to this dude because I don’t want him anywhere near me. So....nah.

After sleeping on it, I tend to agree with map8 and Enchanter. Perhaps a different approach, from us, in the form of respectful coaching might achieve what we’re after... helping a new member modify his behavior and become a safer rider. That’s what we want isn’t it? We might give him the benefit of the doubt that he is coachable before we condem him. Myself included.

That said, to the OP... I love a spirited ride. Most of us do. I’d suggest, based on the car video, that you slow up a bit, practice sight lines, practice vehicle control, practice becoming smooth and discovering the capabilities of your vehicle and yourself prior to focusing on speed. Lane control on public roads is paramount both for your safety and that of those you share the road with.

Welcome to Barf. There’s a TON of knowledge here. Open your mind. Ask questions, digest the advice, ride with these guys if you can win them over and you will become a safer and faster rider. I still like the idea of doing a few track days that include instruction. Hope you stick around. :thumbup

Good stuff Greg.

"Kneedrag" has been a common term for riding spirited and not necessarily dragging knee on the road.

Thanks for the donation Ryan! :thumbup

If you don't want to do track days, you can always get one of these:
