where to knee drag in the area

The best, I think, has yet to come...:Popcorn

Hey Kevin, welcome to BARF. :welcome

I have to admit to being the one who sent him over here from AdvRider. I believe it's a serious request about the roads. I can't say anything about that BMW video though. :rolleyes

The race track suggestions don't help with the 50 mile radius. Although it looks like Sonoma is close enough.

Is there already a thread listing the good roads within 50 miles of San Francisco? That would probably be most helpful.

Do you guys think you can treat this as a real request and put aside the dog pile stuff for a few days?

OK.

Kevin: Get yourself a good old fashioned map of the Santa Cruz Mountains from Hwy 92 and heading south. Start riding and hit every road in the mountains. Use a highlighter to keep track of what you have an have not ridden. Ride a sane pace. Explore. Learn. And know that public roads are NOT the place to be riding at the edge.

Also, if that is you in the BMW video, frankly, you ARE out of control and have a huge amount to learn about driving a car. I have a friend in a nearly bone stock 15 year old Mazda Miata that would plain humiliate you on the track. You have a LOT to learn. And driving like that on public roads is going to get you killed. Or much worse, some innocent person killed. How are you going to live with that?

If that's not you in the video.....carry on.

Driving like in the video is the kind of activity that has killed several very good riders that found the car in their lane. I will not give a pass for "kneedraggers" on the street. I've raced. I like sporty riding. Kneedragging belongs on the track.

Mad

This x10.

Plus, this thread was better before ya'll were told to be nice. Seems like someone with an ankle accessory could take some ribbing.:newbie

I agree we should be respectful to folks asking questions. With that said, there is some personal responsibility to come on here with the right presentation. Like the guys above, the only time I have heard that term was by guys who don’t have much of a clue about how or where to ride fast and safe. If he wants us to judge his riding ability by his pic where his hip is almost dislocated just so he can get his knee to the ground, then he’s in for a hell of a beating.

Is squishy code for junk??

D'oh okay slurpee, and I've never actually bought a slurpee. And you're right I've never leaned over that far. I rub sandpaper on my tire edges to trick people. Y'all happy now.
