You thought the bums on Haight Street were bad...

There is some kind of shortcut, because I am always amazed at stunters and these sort of folks that can afford bikes and thrash them. I thrash bikes, but it isn't intentional, and I am not sure I can afford it. :x

they can not afford them, all of the bikes are stolen. that is whey they will just dump a bike and run away.

easy to get a fake bill of sale for a non registered bike. or stolen from out of state.

not like the "dmv" is on top of things....:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl

.

Well this just made the evening news on KTVU, first thing at 10pm too was that OP video.

At that point they should impound the vehicles like they do street racers cars.
Lock that bike up for six months or longer.

You're forgetting nearly all (if not all) those bikes are stolen and purely disposable to those dildos.

This is one of the reasons I dont go to Haight st anymore, I dont want my bike messed with or god forbid honk at someone walking in the middle of the street with an open container or smoking a joint.

way to go guys, made the local tv & national tv news last night.

Now hundreds of thousands more hate us...way to go...duh. :thumbdown

Those guys aren't *us* ....and they don't care.

Bunch of uptight old men in here. :laughing
Oh noes, someone done did a wheelie!!1! :rolleyes

What really bugs me it that if I went out and rode with them, I'd get caught and thrown in jail. I've considered doing a bunch of BS stuff in SF, and I might have even covered a little ground on the sidewalk when traffic was getting sooper stoopid, but I'd get tossed in jail for that stuff for sure.

If you're by yourself, probably. If you're in a decent sized group? Nope. I've done silly stuff on the Friday Night Rides with zero detainments.
Also ridden on a couple of large stunt rides with no arrests or tickets.

I assume this is purely conjecture on your parts? I mean, they're inner city youth, so the bikes MUST be stolen, amirite?

Ugh! Looks at these thugs and criminals in SF blocking streets, hitting people and causing general mayhem:

Criminals? Oh you mean like those cats that steal artists photos, then post them in an attempt to prove a point?

Yeah, read anything you want in to that, knock yourself out.

I think we'd see a lot less of this stuff if there were more legit places to ride dirt bikes that didn't require a 3-hour drive. Seriously, if you live in the city, where are you supposed to ride a dirt bike?

Carnegie and Hollister are packed to capacity every weekend, but the environmentalists have been blocking Carnegie's expansion for almost 20 years because dirt bikes kill the grass. :rolleyes

Just curious what you were basing your statement on. You say that they're stolen bikes, and I asked if that was conjecture.
Apparently it is. :thumbup

Posting those photos is not illegal. It's Fair Use.

#whoops

Really? No sarcasm here, that is good to know. I figured the watermark coupled with 123RF being a paid/subscription sight meant one needed to pay to use their products unless permission to do so without paying was given. I stand corrected.

Ugh. Where are texting, inattentive drivers when you need them?
:laughing

There's a faint hint of white insecurity and a whiff of racism in this thread.

Not saying what the folks in the video are doing is socially acceptable, but equating them to "thugs" and "bums" is tantamount to bigotry.

Only a Bezerkleyite would jump to a conclusion like that.

I have no issue being a Saltine-American :twofinger

It's really cool...until you see a bike that used to be yours in the vid clip.... then "you would be all like this, or all like that and shit....brah"

Well until then I'll go ahead and think that guys doing wheelies is no big deal in the grand scheme of things.
