18 Crashes in a Single Day at Sturgis

Your link didn't work for me but I found this

Great job by the SDHP!

:wow

That POS is going to get some time to think about his future.
Sure hope so! Meth has had a big impact on many of my nieces and nephews in the PNW. It changes you and you are never the same after you've been hooked on that stuff even if you quit.

Not sure what the intent was in posting that drug bust, but it's not something unique to SD or a reflection of the people who go to the Rally. Like I said earlier, Sturgis is not the type of crowd for everyone and some people just won't fit in, but my experience is everyone there was in a good mood and was chill and just there to have a good time.

Probably not a lot of drugs at Sturgis IME. Druggies can’t normally afford Harleys. Plenty of alcohol for sale, however.

For comparison I looked up some quick stats for Daytona Bike Week 2025. 334K attendees with 2 fatal motorcycle crashes and 2 fatal car crashes.
Interesting, I'm surprised that there were only 2 moto fatalities at Daytona Bike Week 2025. If I recall correctly, there were 15 reported fatalities during Daytona Bike week 2000 that I attended. But I think the number of attendees was signiicantly higher twenty-five years ago.

Likely. Also I would guess just like Sturgis the Leo’s are figuring stuff out.

I believe you, and I hope you're right......but that sounds really, really low.
Rallies in "no.helmet" states feel like they should just begin the count in double digits.
