No i was rude to you and way out of line. . I had a rough year . I apologize for that you dont deserve to be treated with any disrespect.

Can you demonstrate a good POOF i dont think i know what a good POOF IS ^[50 first dates]^

Any idea when the 2016 licenses will be mailed?
I took a few years off, I'm racing again this year and feel like a kid waiting for Christmas.

Bill . Last year they were delayed a bit. They will come bro .

For Legacy in '15 the years were 07 and earlier, and Dino was 00 and earlier. Will these years slide up every year, ie in 16 will Legacy go to 08 and Dino to 01? Or, put another way, will Legacy always be bikes 8 years old and older, and Dino be 15 years and older?

Dino moves to 01'. Legacy remains 07 and older.

We didn't really discuss Legacy moving that much Mike and due to it being a new experiment last season, decided to keep it and refine it in 2016 rules.

If Legacy moved to 2008 that would bring in the newer R6, GSXR, etc. Would pretty much make legacy the same as 600SB, etc.

IMHO it is best that it stays at 2007 for a while.

On the R6 it is significant. Funny enough the performance went back DOWN again in 2010 :(

Hi! I'm going to be new to the AFM this year (raced one year prior with MRA in Colorado). I've been asking a bunch of questions trying to get myself ready but I still have some questions/clarifications regarding racing Novice this year.

Basically want to see if I have this correct, it's run a bit different than what I'm used to

So I raced a season of Novice last year, raced 4 of 7 events. Missed 1 to travel, 1 to electrical failure and another because I moved. From what I understand I have to (or should?) race clubman, which is on Saturdays (and is a combination of 600-1000?) and stay upright AND finish under a certain lap time in order to be eligible for Sunday races?

Then through the Sunday races, there's a number of classes that I believe I can run, but they grid experts and novices together, but score them separately? Same track but a completely different points standing.

And lastly, I would be potentially eligible (as a novice on a '06 CBR600RR) to run Clubman Middleweight, 600 production, 600 Superbike (if I wanted to get motored on), Legacy Medium?, Maybe open production? Trying to get an idea of what I should/could run in. If you have any additions/subtractions I'd love to know!

Thanks!

You have a bunch of classes:

Clubman Middle (you'll want to run this)
600Prod
600SBK
F1
Legacy Medium
F40Medium (if you're >= 40 years old)
750Prod
750SBK

You're not legal for open prod/openSBK because that would be running up two classes and you're only allowed to run up one class. Most of the 750cc grids are 600's since few people have a 750.

As for clubman, yeah, just finish and put in a decent lap. The lap time minimums are pretty generous for all classes except for Formula Pacific.

Novice and Experts are on the track at the same time and scored separately. Multiple classes are gridded together as well due to time constraints (Formula Pacific being the only exception).

Depending on the number of racers, Novice & Expert for a given class may launch at the same time (one green flag) or separately. It's up to the Race Director to decide how to launch things. Different classes always launch separately.

Don't worry about there being multiple classes gridded together- the AFM works *very* hard to make sure the two classes don't conflict and make you choose.
