2018 Winter Olympics

I'm curious where you get your inside information.

I'm not disputing it, I really don't have an opinion either way.

It's pretty well known how he fucked over other snowboarders who he called friends. Look up "Frends" if you want more on that. He's extremely selfish and vindictive and he'll do anything to cheat his competition.

The media has also given Shaun White demigod status. He is immune from criticism, and notably he got a pass from #MeToo this Olympics. I don't think as many people would be watching him ride if the media had given the disturbing sexual harassment claim against him any air time. Which is exactly why they didn't report on it. Sickening.

haha, yes and their hand-held microphones are bedazzled as well.

I find Tara and Johnny make watching what I consider a boring sport much more enjoyable. The wife insists on it, so I abide.

Figure skating is a guilty pleasure for me and it's a love-hate relationship. I love what they do and hate the fact that it's judged. Agreed 100% that they actually make it more fun to watch.

Actually that story along with his public apology were all over the news this morning. And they were bashing him for dragging our flag on the ground.

White is hated by the snowboard community because he doesn't fit into the casual vibe. He's fixated on winning.

He's also the reason a lot of other cats have big sponsorship packages.

Winning is the deal right?? Whatever it takes is the typical high level sport attitude. Being a nice guy is cool, but we see assholes become champions often enough to not have that figure in.

For the casual fan like me, I want to see bad ass performances and White delivers those. I was a bit disappointed to see him dragging the flag, specially because of the national vibe of the Olympics.
