2023 New Bikes & Updates

The 2023 BMW S1000RR M version debuts tomorrow - I can hear the oooh's and ahhh's, or the yawns, depending.

Man, Ducatis are getting uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuugly.

agree... way too busy looking, all kinds of decorative crap everywhere

classic Ducatis were pure function, not a line or a bit of plastic or metal that didn't have a purpose

Oooooo.... aaaaaaahhhh....

Not sold on the winglets myself... a little too "Flying Nun".

(Terrible 60's sitcom reference FTW)

Without the rest of the fairing they look. Shitty.

Sally Fields way better presentation. :laughing

I wonder how much replacements wings are, as they will most likely be destroyed in even a parking lot drop.

I'm gonna guess and say the price of the M1000RR will be about $40K. Folks who can afford that probably don't care about the price to replace broken winglets.

I was "oohing" until I saw the wings. Then I was "ewwing".

And, really, what the heck are they doing on the naked version?

They are hideous on both versions.

They should be an extra or optional piece of kit that you can quickly install or remove for track riding.

They have absolutely no place on a street bike.

Hold up. I got a plans for 3D-printed aftermarket wings with holes for Starbuck's cups. Gonna be the biggest seller since mirror block-off plates. Also considering a sandwich tray version.

The MV Augusta Brutale RR has subtle winglets that look ok... :dunno

Face it, we've been fearing these wings making it down to production bikes for years, and most are as we expected... fugly!

When will those winglets make it to the handlebars on every bike?
Winglets in place of hand protectors/deflector, should be easy to cobble together.
Extra points for mirror stalk inclusion.

When you're on the bike, it seems, you can barely see the winglets... :laughing

At least on the naked version they look easy to remove....
