2025/2026 NFL Thread

I was always a fan of "Let them celebrate." Their careers are finite. This is their one shot at making enough money to last a lifetime (if not spent poorly). Only 3% of NCAA Div-1 football players ever make it to the NFL. They get paid to play a game. It's odd in the grand scheme of life, but that's how it is.

The only thing you can control is your emotions and the TV remote. But don't spoil this shit for others. We are already drowning in our own misery as fans from time to time (or for the last 20+ years!!).

I don’t know if I’m nitpicking her, but the behavior of players on the field whether they are winning or losing is so obnoxious that I even had to turn off the Super Bowl. As a barrier person I went to Oakland for tailgates many times and I know people remember it here. That’s where the show boating and gloating and shit talking is supposed to happen not on the field. Just think about how Jerry Rice or Ronnie Lo or Joe, Montana or Dwight Clark conducted themselves. Let’s leave steve Young out of it because he’s a Mormon and what do you expect? I was always coached to have some class and be a gracious winner.

Yeah, let alone in a weird small City that the ownership has a bit of a contentious relationship with. In addition to any legal weird he catches, he may get sanctioned by the team at a critical time for performance.

Dk suspension is interesting since he previously informed sea chickens this fan was harassing him in the past, supposedly he got called the n word and his mom got called the c word.
