just read the raiders have 3 head coaches on their payroll as they are still paying some out. Gruden is still on their books from what I read. Damn.

IMHO, Chucky was the coach who best fit the Raiders, but they dumped him because they were too cheap.

Not great, but if you run a mostly Dime and 3 safety Defense you can get away with it. Makes you a little soft on the run, but if your Offense comes out cooking you can trade TD's for Field Goals all day and win.

he hasn't not since he got outed in that email dump from the redskins investigation but he is still being paid by the raiders due to contract although I would think there would be for cause firing clauses and not sure how being a bigoted asshole wasn't just cause.
They actually agreed to a payout settlement with Gruden so they didn't have to pay him what was left of the 10/100M contract. The Raiders are currently paying Chip Kelly, Gruden, Josh McDaniels, Antonio Pierce, and Carroll plus whoeverf they end up actually hiring.
THey'll have like 60M spent on just head coaches next year.
