all the rumors that Harbaugh is going to Miami, close with the owner familyh, supposedly they contacted him before they fired McDaniels.

I'd certainly prefer living (again) in Miami, vs Vegas or, ugh, Dallas.

He can be the man that returned the raiiiiiiders to greatness, you may think they are bottom barrel but after the move to vegas they are still considered one of the biggest franchises/teams.

There are still 12 teams who never won a sb, raiders is not one of them

LOL, are you suggesting he kill every remaining member of the 2nd worst ownership family in NFL history (The Fords are actually worse)?

That is the only way the Raiders ever become anything after 40 years of irrelevance. The Davis family is hardcore committed to destroying that team. I honestly thought Mark was going to take the team on the right track when he got them out of the East Bay, but after the Gruden/Carr fiasco, I saw he was doubling down on a Commitment to Irrelevance.

The only hope for the Raiders is that Mark (70 old) dies in the next 5 years and any remaining Davis' clear the path of Tom Brady to run the operation into success.

It’s really funny that he thinks a Lombardi trophy means the Raiders are awesome and I am thinking about this all wrong. The Jets have a Lombardi and they are pretty damn irrelevant.

I mean, the legacy of it matters. There is a reason that Green Bay is the greatest Team in NFL history, even if they haven't taken a trophy in 15 years.

The Raiders are the worst team in contemporary history for certain, but the team they had with one of the greatest Coaches of all time (John Madden) and the culture he built that continued for a few years after cannot be ignored.

Hasn't meant shit since Grandpas were born, but history should matter when considering the legacy of an organization.

You don't understand how the marketing plays and how raiders are a worldwide known commodity, nobody knows about the jets other then the USA

Raiders are like in the tier1 league of franchises in the NFL

Your still not understanding how $$$ runs it all

And I've already stated I don't like the owner nor his haircuts and it's already known Brady has a lotta influence, time will tell if it's gonna turn around.

If raiders was such a bad org why did the goat buy into them, I'm pretty sure Brady coulda bought into other teams

See your above comment about $$$$ why buy into a team not making money even if they play like shit? Or maybe ownership was like yeah tom you can buy a stake but it has to be the Raiders so he had no real choice.

Hubris.

Not looking forward to the Sunday game but hopefully they can keep the season going and pull it out with our depleted roster.
Maybe they will get lucky.

From yesterday.

After not practicing on Wednesday, San Francisco 49ers left tackle Trent Williams was on hand during Thursday’s session. Wide receiver Ricky Pearsall was also seen jogging on the side of the field:

Ugh more like the goat probably think raiiiiders can achieve greatness again?

I think your naive to think Brady only ownership in a NFL team was solely the raiiiders

Could have been a lot of things collusion behind the scenes or he figured Davis was weak willed enough to let him run the team by proxy but we shall see how the show plays out this offseason.

Ugh this is going in circles, and you and the other still miss the point but w/e, y'all just haters on da raiiiders

We’re not missing the point. The Raiders are riding success from 40 years ago…when they were a great organization…they are a horrible organization now and have been for 40 years. You even said it yourself when you thought Brady can bring them back, which means they are irrelevant. And they will be irrelevant until the Davis family is gone.

Shit 3/4 of my family are Raiders fans. I still believe their ownership is what's holding them back. Honestly thought it was Al but Mark is just as fucking horrible an owner as his dad was so yeah until ownership changes hands I think the Raiders will be irrelevant unless something earth shattering happens.

the thing that kept the Raider mystique was being in Oakland, even in their worst years there there were 45000 screaming lunatics in the stands.
The tailgates were things of legend and in the doggie dictionary under loyalty there was a picture of a Raider fan; Labrador retrievers dreamed of being as loyal as Raiders fans. Then the A's ownership extended their lease in 2014 screwing both the Raiders and Oakland.
