750 Superbike - Onboard with #944

are you guys sure it was pete? There is two orange parkhurst bikes. One started from the front row and looks to have gotten away with the front runners. I've been racing with pete in f40 and he was riding pretty good. This might have been the other Parkhurst bike. Not trying to defend pete, if that bike was him he f&%CKED UP pretty bad. It was clearly not Tiger boys fault. He has really stepped it up this year!

Sorry to see you get taken out Steve. Your riding really good this year. I look forward to racing with you next year!!!!!!!

Petes a good guy who did a bad bad thing... :)

Many times...over and over. He's fast but dangerous IMO - he took me out in 2005 at Sears with a scary move exiting 8A. He repeatedly exhibits poor judgement :thumbdown

Sorry he took you out Steve.

That's right the other Parkhurst bike is an R6. It must have been Pete. Pretty shitty move considering it wasn't even for a podium! Just kidding, he should have known better.

Not that it absolutely applies here necessarily, but in general, why does it always seem, more often than not, that the guy that pulls the bonehead move walks away unscathed? It's kind of like the drunk driver that wrecks head-on into another vehicle and he's the only survivor and with no injuries.

You're right -- I should start drinking before every race and riding like an asshole. ;)

Only the good die young my friend only the GOOD die young. I guess I can look forward to a long life ahead!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Raises Hand in Class

In conversation afterwards, the other rider clearly stated he knew I was there. He felt he gave me enough space and then implied I had run wide in the turn and that I caused the collision.

I'm no racer... far from it. But it appeared (yes I watched the whole thing) that you had a clear pass.

I kept saying, "You're faster - go past him!" to my computer screen.

That was a very exciting video, thank you for posting it!

Cheers

PS - I sure hope everyone is okay!
