I'm planning on coming back Saturday, not sure what your itinerary is. I'm gonna do the rider 2.0 class on Sat cause I'm still not 100% from my shoulder surgery I had a few months ago and was skeptical about doing the novice level just yet...that'll be May/June :) Super excited to even get to see the track.

Awesome for the invite to your pit...I'm all new at this so on breaks I def. wanna swing by. Let me know what your plans are. :)

Give me a call when you get to willows on friday, we can grab some food and talk about bikes. 408-540-8754. I should be on the road by about 1:00, but I won't get there till about 5:00. I have to make a couple of stops on the way:thumbup

You bet! Thanks for the kindness, Art. I'll probably stop by the Best Western and check-in first and then head down the the paddock. I'll be the guy with the lil red tacoma/black wheels lookin' all confused and excited (at the same time) :ride I'll give you a buzz when I get there :p

BTW, if you see bike parts all over the freeway you'll know I didn't secure the bike right, :laughing j/k.

I have no signal at the track so if you don't get an answer that's why. I do have a signal in town . Look for the blue chevy dually with the big ass white cab over camper pulling a kendon trailer:thumbup
Like I said I won't be getting there till about 5. If the pit bicycles are available we can ride on the track after it has shut down.

i can't wait! feels like forever since i've been to the track! lookin forward to seeing my 2nd family again. :D

10-4, you'll be on my radar. :) 1st time to a track (not even to see a race) so look for the biggest dork grinning from ear to ear :teeth I'm headed out of the bay around 11/noonish so I'll be there Friday afternoon and night :thumbup

Today is dragging especially slow here at work. But I'm super excited since I haven't been to the track since August 2006. See you guys there!

blue skies and beeeautiful at my house right now in lincoln (bout 60 miles from t'hill, as the crow flies). in fact, i've got all my windows open right now and blastin some tunes. :)

Man, I didn't even ride and yesterday was a great day. Weather was perfect, track looked like it was pretty open, and Zoom Zoom as always did a spectacular job. And the BBQ was great as always. Man, I can't wait to get out there and ride again.

barely any crashes, small groups, plenty of instructors, great weather, and great people, couldn't of asked for more :teeth If this is just the start, I can't wait to find out what else ZoomZoom has in store for the rest of the season!

BTW all the trackside vendors were bustin ass making sure everyone was being taken care of, including Aftershocks, 4theriders, and Motoshoes, thanks again

i had a fookin blast! and now i'm totally tired-ass-wasted. :laughing but i'm still up... getting the pics all batched up. should be up mid morning tomorrow, as it takes eleventy billion hours to batch out.

What an unbelievable weekend for me at Thunderhill! As usual, ZoomZoom put on a first class track day and you could not ask for better weather. I grew by leaps and bounds over the weekend...I went from a 2:18 all the way down to 2:07 and graduated to A group. I made it home in one piece and learned a TON. Thanks to my instructor Mark for the constructive criticism and for trusting me enough to put me in A group. :teeth

See you guys at Infineon on the 25th. :thumbup
 
This noob had a blast doing the 2.0 class and some track time. Came home Saturday night tired and sunburned...and a freakin' flu from hell on Sunday :cry. I'd do it again in a heartbeat. :teeth

Superhawk, sorry I missed you. Got caught up in the hype and meeting all sorts of folks Saturday. I was a kid an a candy store, that's for sure.
