any one going to 2/16 and 2/17 t-hill with Zoom zoom?

Had a great time this weekend, I was so tired I quit for the day early on sunday. Met some old faces and met some new ones. Nice meeting you steve (Ratters) hope to see you on the track soon! ZZ runs a top notch trackday. The staff are all top notch, and they seem to improve what they do every time I go. I can't wait to see what they have in store for the rest of the year!!!!!!!!!!!

As long as I caught it at a great event it's all good. Plus it gave me an opportunity to stay home and not have to 'splain why I'm so damn red (Didn't think about sun screen --dooh) :p

SPF 60 dude. a bottle lives in the car that way i never forget it. :D

Hey Joe(and Toe!), thanks for all the pics! Too bad my riding wasn't as good as your photography :( Gotta get used to this new bike

as far as i'm concerned, your riding was perfect. your bike is still as shiney as when you arrived; flawless. :thumbup

anyways, if you're hauling too much arse, how else are you supposed to pat people on the heads?

Well for the record I'm not blaming anything, just saying I need some work. Watch out when I sort it all out though......................:cool

Suspension is setup completely opposite of what I'm used too but I think it's better to learn to ride a bike that you're not used to rather than just stick with what you already know :)

Jimminy Christmas, I was just givin ya some crap. Can't wait to get out there with you this year though I don't think there's any way I'll be able to keep up.

And it was nice to meet you too Art. :thumbup

Props-
Todd (NRS student) whom experienced mechanical failure but still completed the NRS curriculum except for rider evaluation and race starts, great attitude and good luck.

Thanks Troy, congrats on the awesome riding during your NRS eval. Enjoy the fame that comes with being immortalized as the poster boy for the weekend on the 4theriders site. Speaking of... Joe, my bad for walking away without commenting on your awesome pics. The convenient excuse is that I was still dazed from doing that superman on my chestal section :laughing

The "mechanical failure" is shown below. It could have been the cause, but it was definitely the result...

:laughing :laughing it's all good, dude... i just like to pick on people, ESPECIALLY when they walk in, look, then try to walk out without saying a single word. :laughing

and you probably didn't see the crash pics when you came in too look, cause i had them in the unknown folder. i didn't put 2+2 (=4) together until after i got home last night.

i was on the top of 9 when you crashed...didn't see/hear it until i seen Turbo (the corner worker in T9) reach for a yellow flag. soon as he did that, i knew something happened in T10 and i swung around to see a dust-cloud.

glad you were alright and back out riding, dude! :thumbup

Look out

It was a good call to tuck the front in that failure. Be on the look out for this guy with heart and nuts. He shook it off, scratched together the parts needed and jumped right back on to practice starts. See ya at the next one dude:teeth

You said it :thumbup Truly that is my one and only goal for the most part.

Thanks to ZoomZoom for a great event, and to all who rode so well and responsibly to keep it such a relatively incident-free weekend! It was definitely worth the 10 hour drive each way from Idaho (although my truck breaking down on the way home wasn't exactly part of the plan :wtf ).

Thanks very much to pr0phet00 and Nina for being such great pit neighbors, and for the use of the jumper cables for my new bike with dead battery! Look forward to riding with you on Labor Day weekend! :thumbup

Please add this new picture to your portfolio in the sexy man thread. Canon and all. :laughing

I had a great time on Saturday. Thanks Zoom-Zoom for putting on a great event and very informative classroom session. Also, thanks to Ozzie, my instructor, for all the helpful tips and going out on the track with me nearly every session.
