BARF Militia

From helping my sister chaotically move all day and the new laws passed, yesterday was pretty shitty. Part of me thinks moving to Idaho or Oregon would be cool. The fam and GF wouldnt allow that. I can't believe the laws are even legal from a 2A standpoint. AR's can not be handed down familial lines, either destroyed or taken out of state. My future son or daughter unless out of Cali will never be able to posses my legally purchased AR's. Death by 1000 cuts this state is doing to firearm owners. It's really sad and I can't see how it's even legal. No one with big $$$ is standing up, we with our emails and faxes dont stand a chance. Then I think about it, what if we treated the 1st amendment like the 2A, limit words, ban phrases etc. But then it's already happening. People want to identify as neutral now. I'm not supposed to describe a chinese guy I talked to as chinese, he's just a 'guy'. WTF! I'm not being disrespectful, just giving details. A show like Married With Children would never ever go on air today because it would offend someone. That's not free speech.

In order to keep your AR and not have it be considered an "assault weapon", it's gotta be converted to featureless? The break and pinning stock is fine, it's the grip that bothers me.

Guess Thordsen Customs is gonna be selling tons of his grip stock system.

M1A's and Ruger 10/22 are ok for now right?

Why would ammo get expensive AFTER they require background checks? It's not like it will be scarce. Maybe on the secondary market I could see it getting expensive, people buying it outside of the background check, if that's even going to be legal now.

I really hate to spend a lot of $$$ right now but it's looking that way. Looks like a case or 2 of 7.62x39 is on the way, really dont want to start reloading that round but might have to now.

I made it out just in time. Seriously fuck California, this kinda garbage is a big part of the reason I left..
 
Feh. Staying. Long enough to fund my retirement. Sucks I won't make even half what I do now out of state.
 
What's this about new mag laws? I can't shoot matches in CA any more? I can't even get my old mags out of my CA storage facility to shoot matches? I'll search CalGuns and see what's up.

I'm not current on CA laws but I think few if any of the gen 4s are on the CA roster so that would restrict them to LE.

I hate the trigger on my gen 4. I put the gun (34) up for sale. Maybe it's not a gen 4 thing, maybe it's a production thing, where some combinations of parts fit better than others. But that trigger sucks and all of my others are decent to good.

I'm still waiting on my 43 to arrive. Ten weeks or so now. :( Also waiting for another certificate (to get the 29) and some checks but I'm seriously reconsidering the 29.

Only LE and honorably retired LE can have standard mags in CA. Everyone else must get rid of them by the end of the year.

I googled, and there is a gen3 29sf so that counter guy was full of shit and just wanted to be a turd.

Nothing matters any more. My G19 will now be only 2/3 the gun it was designed to be. I'd plan on moving, but a national ban would probably come down as soon as I did.
 
anyone need any 308 rounds? i have 800 rounds that i dont need anymore. trying to get 50 cents per round. open to trades too.

308 win 147 grain norinco. usually goes for about 65 cents a round. i bought the crate for my AR10 build for plinking, only shot 200 rounds out of it and sold the rifle. not one FTF out of the 200 i fired. now i have 800 rounds just sitting in my closet. im coming to the bay this weds through sunday for the wsbk race so if anyone wants it, i can meet up between then.

I frown upon anybody getting within my peripheral vision while I have the gun up and strongly dislike anybody getting so close I have to react.

That was all kinds of messed up and I wish someone from the peanut gallery had yelled stop.

There are ZERO gen 4 glocks on roster. Not even a good choice period anymore. I'm glad I imported a G19.

Your magazines are subject to confiscation from LEO and you will be fined. Welcome to the worst state in the USA.
