BARF Militia

If your friend wants a G26, we have one at the shop. It's Gen 2 or 3. 499, and we're set up with CFLC.

Both have big hands. I had my friend shoot my G33 and he had a hard time with it. The bigger frame was a better fit for him. But that's an incredible price for a G26. The local store had standard Gen 3 G19s for $899 and night site G19s for $949. Absolutely nuts.

Please be careful shooting on public land with all the fires. Keep a large extinguisher in the truck in case you light up some grass. Sitting in 500-2800 AQI smoke for the past week waiting for the evacuation notice makes this top of mind for me somehow...

It is a used gun, but I don't think very much. It looks very clean inside.
The guy bought two a couple years ago, and his wife didn't like it, so he brought it back to trade on something else.

Prices are crazy out there. Saw a guy selling a Gen3 Glock for $600. Another guy was selling a half box of 124gr 9mm for $30 and when you can find 5.5or 9mm for $1 a round they think they are doing you a favor what is wrong with the world right now.

Fortunately I don't have a need to buy anything right now. If I find something for a decent price, I will buy it, but I'm not in a panic, and not paying double.

I bought a case of Wolf 223 at one of the Miwall parking lot sales years ago. 2010 probably. I think it was $125. One of our sales guys at work (not the gun shop, that's a hobby job) just bought an AR and he's going nuts trying to find ammo. I gave him 5 boxes of the Wolf, he hands me $40, because he thinks that's what ammo is supposed to cost. I gave him back a $20. He's over the moon, and I still almost doubled my money.

Lucky me I stocked up during the great "Walmart Woke" sale of 2019. Also picked up some cans of HP 5.56 during Christmas sales so I am set for a bit.

A guy on a local forum I am on needed some 22lr and I was going to give him a box of remington golden bullets for free because none of my guns like them but most guys on that forum are from NO area and I am a drive away.....

Some of those double stack 2011s are sweet but also get in the $3-$6k range. Mainly for competition though.

Never understood why a cop would carry a 1911. Seem to be too heavy and only 8 or 10rds if single stack plus a manual safety.

Because they are kewl.

I’m in a pistol/rifle firearms instructor course right now and I shot my P320 with the RMR for the last few days. I’m really digging the red dot. It’s got me thinking about a Staccato-P with an RMR now.....

I've carried my 2011 on the way to and from the range, stopping to get something to eat or whatever. It is way too heavy to carry all day. I even take it off between stages at matches.

Plastic guns for EDC.

Wifey gave me the :thumbup for a Staccato P! Probably gonna order next month.

I think I’m going to get rid of my Sig P320 Compact to make some space since it’s the gun I carry least.

Had to look that one up...doublestack 1911 style 9mm? Interesting...let us know how you like it once it arrives!

I shot my buddy’s a few weeks ago. They are fantastic.

And LEO only, I suppose? :x

I can hardly wait for the 9th Circus & CADOJ to have all their anti-2A laws tossed by a Constitutionally-minded SCOTUS. :mad

Glock match at Richmond Sunday:

I won two Glocks and cash. I wonder how long it will take to get the pistolas. I've been thinking of switching to a 48 for EDC (currently use a 19, sometimes 17). I don't want to invest in a new holster and mags though.

Local match yesterday

Still shooting Limited because I have an ammo fortress of .40 Long but relatively little 9 Major.
