BARF Militia

So, I've got to work at least one day this weekend.

For those that want to go blasting, what day works best for you?

Nice. :thumbup I haven't put any of mine together yet. Just don't have the energy. :teeth How long did it take you? Took me about two hours with the gf's, but 1/2 hour was spent looking for a lost spring :cry and the rest was reading instructions and having the gf do a bunch of it.

:laughing I too had a search party for a spring, but luckily we have hardwood floors, so it was easy to find. The lower took about 45 minutes to assemble. The instructions on AR15.com were pretty clear. The hardest part was the detent for the pivot pin. If I could've nailed that in the first shot, it probably would've only taken me 30 minutes.

I'm thinking about replacing the barrel now. I think I want a flip up front sight.

I can't go :( Just found out the day is dedicated to cousin & nephew b-day parties.

I'd love to go, but I got the Austism Ride on Sunday and should probably rest tomorrow to get rid of the flu.

And yeah, that front detent pin is a bitch. I think I can do it a lot more quickly now. I have a friend who just posted up that he lost both of his and doesn't want to pay a couple bucks in shipping for a 50 cent spring. Luckily I bought the "spare spring kit" for just such a reason.

Nice, I love my CRKT M16. Opens as fast as an auto and holds an edge pretty well.

Here's Eric (weak_link) and Susan shooting last Friday. He tried out the M44 and realized it wasn't for him. Shooting it is much fun though.
