Check out the Taurus PT92 essentially the same as as the 92FS it's even made on Beretta machinery in Brazil. Difference is that it has a frame mounted decocker and backed with a lifetime warranty.
+1 on a Taurus, had my PT-101 for 13 years now. Only failure was the rear sight roll pin, they sent me a new roll pin and a new rear sight in the mail under the lifetime warranty.
The reason why they are so much like the Beretta is they bought the Beretta factory with all the machining setup, so any changes they made are small from the original Beretta frames/slides.
I'm a happy camper with mine...
10 days doesn't seem like long to a non-gun nut, but it feels like an eternity, especially when its waiting for the Evil Black ones. Just picked up an AR and a Mini-30 two days ago and then the rains come...phooey

Weak_link, one more thing...save yourself some cash and get a big, quality safe the first time. Not the smaller Sentry one like i did when i got back into shooting. Trust me, you will outgrow it in no time. Or if you can be happy with a just a couple handguns and a couple rifles and/or if the wife gives the oks on your having fun, then disregard this post.

I got there late. Around 5:30p. Funny, I ran into a fellow BARFer/SBRer Brad. The last time I went into Irvington Arms I ran into him. I think he's really there for the massage place next door.
Silly n00b. I thought that too when I bought my 1911. Then the whole OLL thing came up and I'd stop when I got my AR. Then I saw guys were building AK's and I was never really interested but thought it'd be cool to have one. That was 2 years ago and many 4473's ago and now my safe is almost full and I still have 4 parts kits for various rifles in my closet, and I'm thinking of buying 2 more parts kits.
Curse my addictive personality.

I sure hope he can work a rifle better than a ratchet.
I have a few spare parts, but not many.
the only thing i have thats laying around that ill never use is like a new carbine stock. not the buffer tube, but just the stock part, its old style like on the 4 pos m4 stock
i have a old m1s fcg too, but i dont think he wants that.
OH i do have a almost new bushmaster cl 1/9 twist m4 contour 16" barrel
ill sell that off for almost nothing since ill never use it. its got a shaved fsb. but otherwise 100%... barrel nut, fh, and ll that stuff is there too, even gas tube. ,,, no delta ring assy though $150 obo
