BARF Militia

I wasted $80 on a shitty scope, fortunately I have a 10/22 I can mount it on. Then I saw the light and got the Aimpoint Comp M4, which I'm very pleased with and should see a lifetime of use out of.

That's a nice piece Dopesick. You're a die hard Sig fan huh? :)

I'm not sure what I'm itching to get next. I've got the AR, Wingmaster 870, Ithica 37, 10/22 and a Glock 17. I think I'll get a .22 caliber handgun next, just cause they are cheap to shoot, and small to take with me if need be. Then again I do want a DE44 for novelty and a R700 for long range money wasting..

I actually sold my P220 to my dad, and sold my rarly shot kimber to pick that one up.

And yes, a bit of elbow grease, and some time... A sig is a damn good gun.

Inspired by this thread and the relatively low cost, what's your favorite .22LR?

http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/showthread.php?t=74500

I've heard great things about the Buckmark but I want to get some more opinions...

I keep forgetting to post about it, but I went shooting at Chabot this Saturday past. Proved again that my Buckmark Camper is more accurate than my Trailside.

My favorite .22 is my S&W 617 stainless steel 10-shot revolver, though.

Ouch.

Bet it's pretty damn sweet though. :thumbup

Yeah totally, and that was on sale with no sales tax and no shipping! They are usually like $704 most places. I did get the milspec version too with the killflash. I figured it was worth it, since the M3 was like $450 and didn't come with a mount, which was another $100 anyway. Figured I might as well get the latest and greatest and it will last me a long time. Plus I like the convenience of the AA battery setup.

It's a trip not having to close one eye. Wherever that dot is, is where the barrel is pointing. Blows my mind still when I use it. :)

Does H&K make a .22? I might go for one of those walther PPK's in a .22LR. Wonder what they run. I have wanted one, but don't know if I care for a .38.

everett. i would just avoid the .22 pistol idea completely. we have a p22 and like, i kinda cant stand 22 pistols., i dont know why, maybe its cuz they arent that cheap and i hate loading mags. 9mm is plenty cheap, id say spend the cost of that 22 pistols price on bulk 9mm and shoot the living shit out of your glock 17 (maybe put some sights on it while your at it) and get a holster

Why do you think we've been bustin' your balls about getting that M1A?

:laughing well..at least one of them is ok with firearms..:p

and my friend and i made a deal...when he buys his pistol, im buying mine...:teeth

but man...went to the range today and saw that beautiful M1A...:cry

Yea that one is the best ive seen, though i think his price is high. I don't think he really wants to sell it. :]

Here is the rifle my roomate has been building, on my lower. He wants to strip it and duracoat it so he's not assembling the Mega he bought.

Thanks for the scope tip Ratters, we found this bushnell 3200 4-12x40 on ebay for about the same price as the fixed power one you suggested. Note that he put it on the rifle 90deg off :laughing

Late notice. But if anybody interested in shooting a "High Power Huntin' Rifle" match this Sunday at Metcalf (9AM), let me know. SCVRC is hosting one. Same course of fire as a regular High Power match but you get to use the bells and whistles.
