BARF Militia

Yay!

Checked just in time for handgun porn!

Better clean that thing off, Jake, I just blasted it with the money shot.

:rofl

What happened to Miran? He hasn't posted in the Militia in a long time. I would've figured all this talk about CZ's would've brought him out of the woodwork.

Ah shit - I can get a .22 conversion for a CZ!?!? That would be PERFECT for me right now!!

Damn :(

Anyone know if I can go back on a gun purchase before the waiting period is up...like, say, on a Sig Mosquito? I doubt it... :cry

Yeah, the dealer can cancel the DROS at any time between the start of the paperwork and the time you take ownership of the firearm. Not sure about Reeds policy on canceling purchases though. See, Zefflyn was right. You're addicted now. :thumbup

I blame Zefflyn :mad

On second thought, I'll switch it to the CZ and have a second 9mm and save up for the .22 conversion...

I'll have to call Reeds tomorrow to see what I can do. I'm sure they'll be a bit motivated since I want to upgrade my pistol...but maybe not.

I'm REAL glad Nemo brought this to my attention. Thanks!

I think the Sig was a good purchase. A conversion kit seems silly. Use the gun as it is intended IMO.

Alan, that photo inspired me to finally buy the pistol grip for the under ejecting brolin 37 KidRR gave me. $20, shipped! I'll take pix when it's done. I'm going to paint it OD Green I think? :p

Sure - it's a good deal and it's a fun little pistol. But I like the CZ more and the fact that it has a .22 conversion is pretty damn awesome...

My co-worker just bought (ordered) his first gun, a CZ SP-01. And a fellow competitor also bought one. Hmm they sure are getting popular. I won a certificate for a CZ but I sold it when I realized how much it would cost to upgrade to a SP-01 then upgrade it to be race worthy.

As far as decockers go... Get a decocker if you #1 want to carry double action (hammer down) and #2 don't want to manually lower the hammer (a la original CZ-75). Don't get a decocker if #1 you don't want to carry DA and/or #2 you like everything else about the pistol so much you don't care about the decocker.

Make sure it stays over 26" overall to keep it legal. I think the pistol grip is legal, but if the overall length falls under 26" it's considered a short-barreled shotgun (even if the barrel is 18"). Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.

No idea who makes the pistol grip by the way, but the setup looks damn cool.

OD paint on a shotty?

niceeeeee...:cool

You'll lose the DROS fee, though, and then still have to pay for the new DROS for the next gun.

So you might as well take the Sig and then get the CZ too. :banana
