BARF Militia

:laughing ahaha damnit!

edit: :wow......338 Lapua

Yeah, I want it. It's a pretty reasonable price for a 338 lapua rifle. Probably the best thing you can get legally these days..

Anyone know anything about these guns? Value? Collectible? As a browning fan I'm a little embarrassed I don't know much about 'em. It's supposedly a .380 but the barrel says 9m on it but a 9mm doesn't fit. Its kind of cool in a unique sort of way. If I hadn't owned both a 1911 and a high power I never would have figured out how to disassemble it.

Collectible, but not extremely valuable - between $300 and $400. On the upside, since it'll never be on the "safe" roster, it has extra value in CA as a non-importable (unless it's a C&R).

9mm Browning = 9x18mm, .380, or 9mm Short. From before the default 9mm was our 9x19mm.

Thanks guys!

I kind of like its pocket gun style but haven't shot it yet. The sights are shit, almost non-existent. The original owner wants $300 in trade for shop labor for it. I'll probably take him up on it as he also has a high-power I want and they're going to be a package. Who knows, maybe it'll stay in the safe for a little while and maybe I'll sell it. I really like unique shit and can't really get excited about many new guns.

BTW what is the "safe roster" and C&R? I'm so clueless.

http://certguns.doj.ca.gov/ <- that's where the "safe" list is - only handguns listed there can be dealer-sold in CA.

Effective January 1, 2001, no handgun may be manufactured within California, imported into California for sale, lent, given, kept for sale, or offered/exposed for sale unless that handgun model has passed firing, safety, and drop tests and is certified for sale in California by the Department of Justice. Private party transfers, curio/relic handguns, certain single-action revolvers, and pawn/consignment returns are exempt from this requirement.

Private party transfers are ONLY when you and the seller meet in person at the firearm dealer to do the transfer. Buying from a private party out of state doesn't count.

Finally took pics of my CZ SP-01, some with the new aluminum grips I installed...

Looks pretty good with the mumps blurred out. Is that a leather bedspread?

Holy:wow

I just read the rental list for Reed's, with hourly pricing, and this was at the bottom:

General
Electric Minigun .308 $1000.00

Damn, Bitch!!:party

Back when I worked for GE, my favorite shirt had the GE motto "We bring good things to life" above one of those miniguns, and the GE logo beneath that. :cool

I started laughing thinking about shooting a minigun at a 25yd, indoor range:laughing

Seems like it might be overkill:wtf
