BARF Militia

I had a P99 for all of two months. It's a very plasticky-feeling gun. And not good plastic like a GLOCK or HK, but Fisher Price plastic like a kid's truck. I really wanted it to be good, but I couldn't get over the feel in my hands, that constant-radius trigger guard that rubbed my trigger finger raw, and so off it went to a new owner. I hope you don't find those same faults as I did, and that you enjoy your new gun :thumbup

Somewhat the same opinion here - it's a good gun overall, fit my hand well, and looks really cool, but the trigger rubbed my finger raw.

progressive rcbs press and al you still need primers?

Maybe.......had 5000 SWC and LRN 200grainers shipped today. Also a promise of 5000 Large Pistol primers to ship tomorrow along with 8# powder.

Gotta see how the SWCs cycle long term before i commit to any more. If ya simply need to get rid of the primers, let me know and i'll take em anyway. They will get used up in no time.

Bah, just noticed how old the original article is. But the comments are as funny as the idiocy of the police and journalists in the article!

Hey masameet! Have you ever used your FiveseveN on big game?

Pop quiz! Which three states surround California?

Assault weapons are illegal in California. But they are legally sold in several nearby states, including Arizona, Nevada and Texas.

FAIL!!!

TM doesn't allow saiga 12's I found out, they want to keep it a "family enviroment"......:facepalm......I guess. Anyone know of any ranges open late during the week that DO allow them?

Sunnyvale Rod & Gun range is open Tuesday nights from 5-9pm if anyone gets that "itch" after work. It's right across from Stevens Creek Reservoir. After not touching my 12 gauge since January, my very first round at the trap range was my best score ever: 24/25... which only goes to show that it's better to be lucky than good. :teeth The best part was outshooting all the fancy pants big $$$ over/under trap guns with my duck gun, a black synthethic stock 12 gauge pump Benelli Nova.

Ducky, if you want to go next Tuesday let me know and I'll bring an extra shotgun.

I think I should have you shoot against some friends of mine....lol.

Finished my AR10 lower half. Waiting on the upper to become available from armalite now. Woot! :D

whoa whoa! Dang did you order from armalite already? I've always been hoping to get just the SuperSASS upper alone, and when i learned they offer it now I was so happy ... but still unavailable :'(. They're out of stock on everything! They also told me that it has to be shipped to an FFL... :wtf

Pssssssssst - next Tuesday night is mall ninja night at Sunnyvale Rod and Gun!:teeth

We need to set up a NorCal shoot -- up at Cow Mountain (Ukiah), where we can bring our nice big guns and blow shit up rather than shooting stupid little holes in paper while a range-master yells at you for firing too quickly.

Who's down? I'm off Sunday through Wednesdays and I've got a couple legit AR's that I need to go through to check the reliability.

Had a couple of failures (2 out of 200 rounds - 1 was a primer strike that did not ignite which could be the round, or the firing pin, the other was a failure to extract) on my Bushmaster AR last week at our department rifle training. I wasn't too pleased with it so I made a couple small changes and need to get more rounds through to check it out.

There's nothing cooler than out shooting some crotchety old dude with a $2000+ gun. I love when people bag on my Remington SPR310 then I bust more clays than them. I just like to tell them I'm better than them because my gun was cheaper and could afford more ammo to practice. :laughing
