BARFistan 2025, Butch's Ride Report

When someone fails to keep the shiny side up Moin fixes it with a band aid. Jess was the only one who received that award.

this pic is at the breakfast table, kinda typical stuff. The soda had actual sugar, not HFCS. A box of Kleenex was used for napkins, again typical.

Apparently, Itchy Boots is there now

Edit, Moin says she was there there three months ago

She does such a great job. :thumbup

This is today's Itchy Boots. Crazy traffic.

Catastrophic flooding and landslides there in the northern Khyber area this week. Looks like your trip was very well led and also well timed to avoid the monsoon.

The traffic was pretty easy to deal with. Folks yield. Was kinda fun. We did not ride in Islamabad, our traffic was in villages in Northern Pakistan.

I just bought my first motorcycle ever that is not a sportsbike or a motocross bike, a CFMoto Ibex450. Such an amazing bike! 58.8 miles per gallon riding through the mountain canyons, so comfortable, and it rides like a Supermotard or MX-bike. This bike it seems, just loves the corners. I am just amazed at all the features this bike has. This is my first bike ever that has a digital dash (I am old school, been riding for 40+ years, and all my bikes has always been analog bikes except this one). To me, this is the SMARTEST decision I have made as far as motorycle-purchases goes, However, I have nothing to gauge this bike against, because like I said, this is is my first ever motorcycle that is both "streetable" and "trailable". I am NOT a nitpicker though, so I don't need anything more than what this bike has to offer as far as a commuter bike and an adventure-bike goes. I have NOT taken it on the dirt yet, because I am NOT ready to get it dirty. hahaha. I do love all the amazing Youtube videos I see of this bike, especially the extreme dirt trail videos.

I'm still waiting on info about the electronics this bike has.
The brief ride/peek I took, mentioned trip data logging, type info, almost black box stuff.
And send it to your phone, with onboard bluetooth ?

I've owned no less than 25 motorcycles and the 450 Ibex is at the top for a nimble but capable ADV bike. Riding them in Pakistan completely changed the tour experience. My husband and I plan to buy two and do more moto-camp weekend rides with them.

The CF Moto dealer in Carson City, 395 Power Sports, treated me really well on my 600-mile service. I came in while on a ride and they did not make me wait for days they accepted the bike then and there :thumbup
