BARF's Biggest Losers, Gainers, Maintainers....Q3 2015 Edition

Missed my check in yesterday because of work, but hit it today. 182.4 which is up slightly from last week, but I'm considering a win because I'm still under the 183-4 plateau I was on, and also because I was sick all week and didn't exercise as much as normal.

I'll be back on my regular routine this week. Keep up the good work folks because 'tis the season and all that holiday cheer is right around the corner!

Seems like every time I have a tuna sammich as a meal, the next day I hop on the scales to see I've lost a pound.

All right, 5000-6000 ft ele has not affected me as much as I was worried about. Some of the people that my wife works with are not as fortunate. They have a hard time moving any faster that a leisurely walk.

207.8 #'s yesterday morning! Woot Woot. :party I am surprised as we have had to go to dinner a couple of nights to meet her coworkers.

I am trying to get some dirt bike riding after training every day. Not as easy as I thought. Riderplanet shows 6 OHV area's within 1-1 1/2 hour from here but some of them are covered in snow. Will be heading to another OHV area on Monday which is less than 12,000 ft. :laughing

Have a great weekend! :thumbup

Another week of solid progress. 180.8 this morning!! Rode the bike religiously, actually worked on my feet all weekend in addition to my regular workouts, and I've been snacking on grapefruit too which seems to be helping instead of whatever else is around. Not sure how this week will go but I'm feeling motivated and breaking into the 170's seems totally do able now! I can't believe it! :banana

244 this AM. Some progress.

Mostly just adjusting eating habits as of now. Normal gym stuff... nothing enhanced.
4lbs in a week works. As long as I keep it going.

I've been a bit off line here the past few weeks - life got a little crazy, but hopefully starting to settle down a bit. Trying to get back on the wagon. Came in this morning at 143.2...so I've got some ground to make up, but not as bad as I thought it might have been.

We've been hard at work and diet is pretty garbagey. Gained 3lbs :mad
Lost another inch off my waist :wtf

Entire body hurts from handling hoses, lines, and equipment.

The dog is down 4lbs his energy is up and he's in a real good mood. :thumbup

haven't posted but last two week I have been around 185lbs which isn't bad. I was able to fit into a size 32 jeans which I haven't done in a long time.

Not running as much lately on the bay trail during lunch as I switched to riding my cross bike for about 8-10 miles during lunch. Or I play basketball for about an hour.

Really need to meal prep and hit the gym, my schedule has been off lately.

Yeah, it's been a lot of protein and carbs.

I think the weight gain is stress. What we do is pretty high stakes and when a job starts going south it feels like I'm dying of colon cancer and a heart attack all at the same time. In reality it's a freaking tugboat that insists on rolling on its side and staying on the bottom.

This is the time of year when you need a LOT of discipline!...

Smaller quantities and less tasty snacks... (Very hard to do)

The amount of calories consumed should be burned off that day, or at least attempted. Going to ride the bike in the AM on T-day and X-mas if it's not raining...

Remember that you stuff the Turkey, not your face...

Holding pretty steady at ~165

Almost broke in to the 170's this week but not quite, I weighed in at 180.0. Pretty please with my progress but I'm assuming this week will be a set back with all the turkeyday fatstravaganza action. Anyway was pretty good about not eating too much pizza and worked on my feet again all weekend, rode the bike everyday, but didn't use the bowflex at all because I'm having some pain in one of my shoulders I need to get checked out. Hopefully back to the weights soon. Thanks for the motivation Losers! :thumbup

No doubt.. I am just trying to stay below 245 until Monday.

The wife is a good cook and is cranking it up.

"What can I get you?" ~ Nothing thanks :cry
"Want some pie?" ~ No thank you! :cry
"Smoked Chicken sandwich?" ~ Oh shit... <buries face in hands> No, but thank you. :cry

Happy Tday all.

If you need a substitute eater, I'll make the ultimate sacrifice for you, Budman. :laughing

Back to my starting weight. :banana

I've been a psychopath with respect to food lately :(

I'm up to 176 now. Pretty pleased with the progress so far and I still can fit into my pants so I'm not too fat yet!

Thankfully I won't be having any Thanksgiving meals so I can at least watch what I eat this week. In fact I'll be travelling most of the day Friday so I don't know if I will even eat enough. I definitely had to struggle to get enough calories in this past weekend when I rode to LA.
