Speaking of road rage, I was flipping out in forza last night.
Question on modern gaming etiquette: I haven't played online since college (~10 years ago). I keep getting random ass strangers who want to add me or send me invites to play with them. I don't know them or remember playing with/against them. What's the purpose of this? Has online gaming really become that much more social than I remember as a kid? Do people actually make friends playing Modern Warfare? Just curious.

Speakin' of which, add me bish.I've gotten that a lot. sometimes you're good at something, and they're trying to put a good team together. (try playing domination with someone who plays it like TDM)

If I play domination and there's a really good slayer on the team but doesn't play the objectives, I'm fine with it. I'll capture flags while the other team is distracted dealing with all the shit the slayer is raining down on them.
If they don't play objectives, hardly get any kills, and just camp their ass off in the hopes of at least getting a pedo missle, then they're a pretty worthless objective game player.
What I really hate are the guys that just are worthless at everything. You see their score at the end and they went like 4-26 with all of 300 points. So you know they didn't even play the objective either. It's just part of the game that there's people that bad at it, but it still doesn't change the fact that it's formula for rage when they get stuck on your team.
Players like that are probably the single biggest reason people you dont know try to invite you to their lobby. You might have played with them recently and they saw you either got a lot of kills and/or played the objective. They'd rather just lobby up with you than get potentially get stuck with a Xmas noob that goes 4-26 and captures no flags. You might have a chance at winning getting stuck with one of those, but two makes it almost impossible to win.
get a good team, and the ass rapping begins. Good insight, thanks! No wonder I've logged into a couple of games where one side just completely destroys the other, 2 or 3 guys all with 2.0+ KD ratios. Must be grouping together! If I play domination and there's a really good slayer on the team but doesn't play the objectives, I'm fine with it. I've only been playing Team Deathmatch, and more recently, kill confirmed. I loved Capture the Flag in Quake 2, so I'll have to try that and domination out. Also, the MK14 is a fuckin' beast. I'm in love.
