Yep - Shades and I were actually having a conversation about that - how games used to be a totally solo experience; disappearing into the living/bedroom to escape to your own video game world...the paradigm has definitely shifted.

Mics help a lot; and here's the etiquette as far as I see it: If you're using a mic and start to actively communicate in a team-based game, and we actually do a good job, why wouldn't I try to add you as an Xbox friend? If you don't use a mic, that tells me you're not actively trying to be social - or that you're just poor. In that case, you need to be extraordinarily good for me to invite you, but I will in an attempt to make the team better (team-building element coming into play.)
 
I much prefer to play with those oriented to the strategies of the game. but I play weird hours sometimes, and rarely anyone on.

That gun is just awesome in all the hardcore modes. Run with silencer and ACOG and it's far more effective than any sniper rifle since it has a 20rd mag, scopes in fast, and you can spam the trigger much faster.

Even in core it's only a two hit kill without the silencer in most situations. I ran a core kill confirmed on Dome and still went 2:1.

One of the best guns in the game, I hardly have any time with. The MP7. Arguably the best SMG you can get. I think I'll use the next prestige token to unlock it and start prestige 3 with it.

I just discovered it last night. My KD ratio immediately jumped a few points. I'm primarily a solo rusher and I just love running through the map going "Click, click. Dead. Click, click. Dead." I switched to Marksman to take advantage of the range and start engaging enemies further out, it's truely awesome.

Prior to that I was using the PP90M1 with rapid fire and silencer. It's like shooting a laser! Haven't tried out the MP7 yet, I'll have to give it a go tonight.

A lot of the youtube pub stompers use marksman. I tried it but I didn't get much out of it. And I just don't want to give up dead silence (in HC modes) or stalker in favor of it.

The PP90M1 will seem like a M60 with no grip compared to the MP7. Now that thing is like a frigging laser!

Played the first 2 missions in Saints Row 3 and the game is pretty damn funny so far.
