Mk14 is just ridiculous if you have a solid 4 bar connection....

Dome is much better suited for a SMG, but I lit those kids up with the Mk14 anyways. And I wasn't even the biggest slayer on my team. Had some dude drop a 65-15 on them. Neither one of us stopped to capture flags. Other team just got eradicated. We almost constantly had an EMP going.

So my K/D is improving, between 1.5 and 2.0 atm, but I'm still averaging around 10-15 kills a round, with 20 on a good match. How do you rack up this many kills? I'm constantly on the move, but I don't think I can barely rack up 45 encounters, let alone kills! What's the secret?

play domination, dont do the objective and kill people.

It's more than that, I play kill confirmed and regularly see people in the high 20s and low 30s.

Yup...just don't play objectives. If its kill confirmed, don't collect any dog tags. Oh sure, your teammates will pick a good portion of them up. But some won't. And that draws the match out longer. More time to rack up kills.

And if you want more kills, don't bother with the support killstreaks like ballistic vests. Whether you run assault or support, only put on streaks that will directly result in kills for you. In support, the stealth bomber and remote turret are always good.

But really the best way to rack up kills if you can't string enough together to get the good assault streaks (like reaper or ac130) is just to run specialist package. Since most streaks involve stopping what you're doing to open the laptop or whatever. On a map like Dome it's better to just keep moving and flanking.

And if you're not running Assasin on your 2nd perk, shoot down their UAV immediately when you hear about it. That's the only thing you want to stop running and gunning for to deal with. So many people are just ripe for the picking if they don't see you as a red dot on the minimap.

The class I use most frequently is the following:

Primary: MK14 Focus Silencer
Secondary: FMG9 Akimbo
Lethal: Bouncing Bettie
Tactical: Concussion
Perk 1: Sleight of Hand
Perk 2: Assassin
Perk 3: Marksman
Assault Streak: UAV/Care Package/Predator Missile
Death Streak: Final Stand

My problem is finding people to kill. Thinking about it, I probably spend too much time running around the circumference of the map trying to flank people. Not sure I'm good enough to run directly into the hot spots though. I'm just now starting to feel comfortable with most of the maps. Recently I've been trying to use the mini map more often to find out where the action is, but by the time I get there, it's over already. :mad

The best tip for that and what a lot of the super killwhores that post huge killcount games on YouTube do...

Learn the spawns. Where spawn points flip to once their last spawn point is now too close to danger.

Domination is easy. They should spawn near the flag(s) they control. General rule of thumb is to not follow your team and go where all the green arrows are. Sure there's action there, but by the time you get there, your team either wiped them out or got overrun and you're headed into a stacked fight. Either way, don't go there. Figure that the respawns will be happening away from the bulk of your team, so that's where you wanna be. This is where running the Assasin perk pays off since if they have a UAV and they respawn way the hell on the other side of the map from where they just died, and see no red dots near them, they think they're safe and do dumb shit...like sprinting back to the action and not checking corners. Meanwhile, you were already there to head them off. Take advantage of their haphazard ways by killing them as they are sprinting around a corner.

But yeah, learning/predicting where they respawn is a huge advantage. You know it's like playing Drop Zone. There's a pattern of where the zone shifts to on each map. Once you know it, you get a huge advantage. If there's only 5 seconds left till the zone moves and you respawned across the map, make a break for where the new zone will be. Start racking up points and earn the first care package because you were already in the new zone as soon as it shifted there. Plus it gives you time to do shit like set up a trophy system and find a good defensive spot to kill the enemies as they try to take over the zone.
