BARFTRON HOMEBASE

I havent kept up to date with the console development but im already tired of the codes required to play multiplayer on a $60 game. The greed is pushing me farther and farther from multiplayer gaming. Taking advantage of consumers just to cut used game retailers profits. Utter greed.

is the next PS4 controller, I think every last one of us is going with Microsoft. Supposedly, it splits apart and the stupid balls at the top are for the next generation of Move.

Move...you know that thing that is a huge fucking flop on PS3. Apparently, Sony thinks everyone will use it more if they ram it down everyone's throats even harder.

There's also rumors that the PS4's new controller will have a OLED touch screen in the center of the controller with biometric sensors. Psssssh...sure. Wireless controllers get thrown across rooms in fits of rage. Sony can't be making people buy $100+ controllers.

They trying to mate the WiiU and the kinect? Lol

Honestly, for motion control the kinect kicks the crap out if everything else. Its still frustrating to use and impossible to take seriously (I wish they would incorporate it into BF3 cockpit view) but its just better. Sony is going to hang onto the Move system longer than xbox hung onto the HD DVD hardware (though the blue lazer in that thing melted trashbags).
 
Bleeeecchhhhh! I hope they keep the controller the same or have an option to. If the 360 controller had the joysticks both in the middle like the PS3 controller I'd be really happy with it. I also like the softer feel of the PS3's sticks - less tension on them. However, I like the concave tops of the 360 sticks vs the convex tops on the PS3. The same curvature differences on the L2/R2 trigger buttons bother me (I like the 360's concave shape) is easily fixed on the PS3 with a little snap-on addition for $1. I like the shorter "throw"/catch on the PS3 triggers vs the 360. It's a minute difference for sure but seems shorter on the PS3. Less tension to keep on the button to get the drop with ADS on someone. By the same token, I think the longer throw on the 360 works out better for racing games like Forza/Project Gotham. We'll see what they both come out with.

For serious (ie grown up) gamers, the Kinect and Move don't have much of a market. I tried that Kinect thing with Forza since it kinda pans the view if you turn your head. Meh, couldn't get used to it. Even using my hands to move the tile menu in the dashboard, like in Minority Report, was nowhere near as easy as just using the damn controller.

Now if....IF I had a kid or something, the Kinect would probably be good. Oh you want a bunny rabbit? Well here try this Kinectanimals game. See if petting this virtual bunny works. And it doesn't die if you forget to feed it.

One thing is for certain. Sony has said that the "Dual Shock" controller design dies with the PS3. So they're definitely cooking up something new. And if they truly do make it that thing with the Move balls on it...then I do feel sorry for all the Sony fanboys because Microsoft will have won the great console war.
 
Beat a team 75-15, that's the most lopsided win I've ever experienced. I was 10-1 and had the second-worst score on my team, waha. But my team was all clan except me. Just a bunch of campin' bishes, no skill at all other than standing still and aiming at spots. Garbage!

What I'm thinking.

I find the Xbox UI so repulsive the thought of buying one makes me ill. I bought a PS3 because it played blurays and I don't feel right playing Tekken on anything but an arcade joystick or a PS* controller. But honestly, both platforms-- in terms of principles-- have done all they can to alienate me as a customer. The relentless greed (does DLC stand for 'Dumb Losers Cashcow'?) is just the icing on the cake.

Probably won't bother with the next gen console TBH. I can only hope that gaming will mature on the linux x86 platform so I can finally give M$ the boot, but I'm not holding my breath.

I just got off and there were quite a few campers. I love being shot in the back from a window. Can't wait until this weekend looking forward to double XP.
 
Hey are there any non pro players of COD BOII or MW3 out there? I'm tired of getting my a$$ handed to me and would like a little play where I can at least "compete"... Tough to practice.. bots are getting easier but they just don't compare to live play..

Ill play MW3 with ya but ive been on my own so long I dont really play team tactics.

Send me a friend request at VesperSage0228(Xbox generated to lazy to change). I have gotten better but regularly get my ass handed to me. I am on Central time when I can play BOII as my Xbox is at home in Louisiana for now until we finish moving.
